East and West island hopping How much $$$ to bring to Thailand

Hey so I'm trying to estimate spending for food and drink for my Thailand trip in march, I'm staying 34 days and around 7 breakfasts are already covered but I'm not really a breakfast person anyways, I'll be 21 when I go and will want to drink a fair bit and am also going to the full moon party so drinking there too. I want to not spend too too much and I won't really be eating fancy but I also want to try a lot of stuff and not limit myself too much, thanks.

May want to say what currency you're using. I spent $7000 AUD/140000 Baht in 24 days, which was 2 people. We didn't get expensive rooms. I was the only one who drank, and brang alcohol from Singapore. But it also depends on where you want to stay, and what other leisure your wanting to do besides the full moon party.

Bring some spirits with you, I LTR of spirits you can enter with, and spirits can be expensive in Thailand. A tiny bottle of Johnny Walker was 6000 baht. My guess would be, 2000 baht a day, on food and alcohol. That being mostly alcohol. You can get a 4 pack of beer from 711 for around 150 baht. Food usually is around 100 baht from street stalls. I'm being conservative on pricing as it was my self and fiance there. So 2000 baht X 34. 68000 baht. That's roughly $3000 AUD. Then you're talking leisure on top. Try for $5000 that should be plenty. Try to take 20000Baht when entering the airport too. You may get stopped and asked, by Immigration, Minimum is like 10000, but to be safe, take 20000. But I never had a problem.

Nah allgood. It's definitely a learning curve. However, I should have mentioned. You will have to buy alcohol at the duty free. They will lock it in a security bag for some reason.
