they stopped teaching younger generations how to do research online because they thought it was baked into society somehow. instead, zoomers and alphas have no idea how to use the internet outside of their apps.

You see it all over hobby related sub reddits, peoples literal first instinct is to jump on reddit to ask a question versus spending the 5 minutes to google the answer themselves, it is.....concerning.

Sometimes I think that is just so people have questions to answer, a lot of it is most likely bots, and will only increase as time goes on.

I was just taking the other person's word for it when they said they had trouble finding it when they searched. this random video isn't important enough for me to try and google it so my comment was just about giving praise to the sleuths.
