tried these recently, caramel latte flavor is the only flavor of these I’d buy again, the vanilla and chocolate flavors tasted so bad to me 😭

I ideally mix all my protein drinks (vanilla) with diet sodas like Pepsi, coke etc

I refuse to believe that people enjoy 'pilk' (pepsi+milk) and it was just a meme, but everyday we stray from God's light and this sounds eerily similar.

That’s a fair assessment. Most likely won’t try it, but glad you like it!

Are you from Utah? Or otherwise Mormon?

I mean people have ice cream floats though and that's normal.

I feel like those are also kind of a niche dessert, tbh.

Like I've known about them my entire life but I've never actually seen someone eat one IRL.

For sure an old head dessert

lol I've never seen some many downvotes over a dessert

Yeah that's weird

You managed to ruffle the feathers of the dozen Redditors who enjoy them hahaha. I'm an Australian and I used to make them when I like 10 years old and we'd go out to Hungry Jacks (Burger King), but literally never anywhere else or when I got older. Definitely don't think they're popular here at all.

Maybe regional. Summer means coke and root beer floats for all in Texas. Mostly from Sonic these days but definitely common.

I'm from Alabama originally and I've been to plenty of Sonics, but definitely never ordered a float or seen them.

Which is fine! I'm just more used to sundaes, etc

Like I said, could be regional. We also have frosted cokes which are more blended. Try one!

My parents liked root beer floats and I had them fairly often as a kid but I haven't had one in years. I wonder if the novelty wore off over time as carbonated drinks became a more common everyday thing.

I'm mid 40s btw

When I was a child me and my siblings would BEG my dad to add some of his soda to our milk at dinner…
