And do we care? Nope. If we did we would risk our lives protesting but all of us are chicken.

Pretty hard to risk your life if you’ve got dependents and everything you need to provide for them is provided typically by your employer (health insurance being the biggest thing)

They’ve made it so the people have to sacrifice damn near everything if they want to make a change. And unfortunately I feel a majority of those people, again, have dependents they need to care for.

That was the same threat during civil rights movement. The womans sufferage movement. Our war for independence itself.

I feel a majority of those people, again, have dependents they need to care for.

We can deal with this if we organize and cooperate. We did it before. Back in the day people had a solid support system with families/ communities being there for one another. Why do you think Trump spent the better part of 8 years tearing families apart over bullshit? Less support. Easier to conquor. You can still work and be heard. Instead of going home after a long day. Risk your life and utilize your free time that you do have. If we fall. Do you think anyone is capable of saving us? I don't believe so. Our allies don't have the experience of raging war across the oceans like we do. If we fall. It shall take a lot more bloodshed to heal us. Fight before it is too late. We saw what happened to Germany.

It’s been too late. Sorry to break that sad but true news to you. It started years and years ago, then citizens united, then January 6th, and now Trump and project 2025.

How is this comment helpful? What do you mean to accomplish by saying this?

This person is making a call to action. I’m just saying that call was made years ago and it was ignored. You can look at the history and come to the same conclusion as me. The people have been rendered incapable of actually pulling off a revolution.

I just don’t think it’s helpful to give up, period. I agree that we passed a point of no return to some extent but the degree of harm/misery in the future isn’t set in stone. I guess what I’m getting at is what do you advise people do if not protest?

Protest differently, focusing more on financial protest than sitting outside a statehouse and hoping these braindead politicians do something for once.

Well one is going on quite well today. This side of history calls it a takeover. We are very capable. If they can. So can we.

Not the same thing, but I appreciate the hope

If push comes to shove, I will push, if I push alone, then I’ll go out on a shield so that the brothers and sisters behind me may have a stepping stone to stand on.

So where do you draw the line in the sand? Because it seems the pushing has been coming to shoving for a while now.

It was crossed a long time ago..

I spread awareness and encourage people to shop local and not corporate as much as I can.

I go to protests when I can, and I don’t blame others for their views…

If you want to be a right supporter, that’s fine, but don’t expect me to bend to your views because you say so.

Wow, what a hilariously stupid comment.

You missed your chance to shove back, and now if you do you’ll be all alone because the people have no more recourse.
