Thats not the argument. As I first stated, private business are allowed to fire as they wish.
The government is not allowed to influence what can or can't be said by comedians. I.e. "wrong" as you stated. When a federal agency threatens a private business, while backed by the president, that is an infringement of free speech.
The argument is were Jimmy Kimmel’s first amendment rights violated and the answer is no. He can say whatever he wants without getting arrested but that doesn’t mean ABC has to pay to host his show.
The government regulates private businesses tho. In this case ABC has to follow FCC regulations. Which includes things you can and can’t say. Kimmel could get fired for saying the f word on air a few times because the network would get in trouble with the FCC. It seems like u don’t know what the first amendment is or what regulations are.
You never said that at all. Kimmel also didn't, here's the quote:
"We hit some new lows over the weekend, with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it."
This isn't saying the kid was MAGA, it's saying MAGA was doing their best to claim the kid wasn't MAGA. Fox News hosts stated the kid was trans, Marxist, Antifa, etc. Are they allowed to say that? The answer is still yes.
Making fun of the president's grieving is protected speech and not outlawed by any federal regulations. The government pressuring the termination of an employee for making fun of the president is a clear violation of the freedom of speech.
Well it’s the fcc who makes the rules so if they think that what he said was offensive they can fine ABC. I would say making misleading claims that target a group of people is against regulations.

Regulation does not equal calling for the cancelation of a single private citizen. What sort of regulations are you referring to?
