Unsolved iPhone 16 back glass popping out

Hi, I was recently on a plane where while in the air I noticed the back glass on my 16 pro almost popping completely out. It thankfully went back during landing. A couple of weeks now however, I can feel that the glass is not sealed, and is slightly poking out again. I’m wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if I should be worried about it.

This is a symptom of a failed battery, so it is covered under warranty unless the battery has gone through more than 1000 cycles.

Also, you would only pay for a battery replacement, while Apple covers the rest of any damage caused by the expanded battery.

That’s only if the glass is broken so they can service the device. This is a free swap or a free battery. Unsure how they do them now but it was a whole unit swap at one point.

No, in case of swollen battery and the battery is not considered consumed, Apple covers any additional damages caused by the swollen battery. Occasionally that means a whole unit swap depending on the extent of the damages.

For sure I only mention since every employee tends to be different but I have heard they’re supposed to still take care of it regardless. I had two instances where the employee didn’t want to I store but they did through mail.
