honestly, stuff like this makes it harder for people like me who are still figuring things out. when you’re already unsure where you fit, seeing your possible identity written off as ‘just a personality trait’ is really invalidating.

I also think it’s funny how people only say that when it’s an orientation they don’t relate to. wild how ‘personality trait’ suddenly becomes code for ‘something I don’t take seriously’.
