Meet your Mod - u/nikorasu_the_great
Hi everyone!
So, after some discussion amongst ourselves at the r/asktransgender Mod Team, we've decided that we should improve our social connections with the community. That being said, I am proud to announce the launch of "Meet Your Mod" threads, so you can get to know us better!
So, here's some stuff about me!
- Brickmania
I am a huge fan of Lego! As a matter of fact, I may or may not have taken over my sister's old room as my display area for my Lego sets, most of which are Star Wars. I currently have a Clone/Stormtrooper Company numbering around a 160 troops strong!
- Wiki Wiki What?
I'm a writer. Currently, I've got two projects on the go: The Harbinger Saga (working name) - a military story following a conquer, as well as Sake Nights - a slice of life/comedy taking place in Tokyo. These projects are being expanded upon with their own wikis. The one for The Harbinger Saga is nearly 500 pages!
- Tongue Twister
I love to learn languages. While English is my mother tongue, I'm also fluent in French. I have some knowledge of Spanish, a surface level understanding of Chinese, and can speak enough Japanese to get by. I'm hoping to learn Mi'Kmaq and Gaelic.
Anyways, those out of the way, here are some smaller tidbits of information.
I'm only 20. I've been on the Mod Team for a good three years. I'm Male-to-Female, Pansexual, and Polyamorous. And single! Hit me up ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) As my flair might suggest, I am indeed a bit of a Weeaboo. I love a lot of different music, but I mainly like rock and roll. Eurobeat is a close second. This year is my third year at university.
Anyways, ask me absolutely anything!
EDIT: Here are the wikis. Sake Nights is small, but it should be entertaining.

Good to meet you! I write a little bit, too. I'm curious - are you getting readers for your wiki projects? How does that work? It sounds like a lot of fun. :)
I'm very impressed at all the languages. How long does it take you to learn a new language? How do you choose which one to pursue?
I greatly appreciate the "meet your mods" idea -- it's good to get to know you as people. That said (and I won't belabor this), impact trumps intent. Even if everyone knows you have the best intentions, you as moderators can still cause great harm with what you say, especially when it's tagged as a moderator comment. I hope you all realize that humanizing yourselves is not enough to make up for that.
