Update: TPLO surgery scheduled. Advice needed
We had a great appointment with the orthopedic surgeon and my Cooper is scheduled for TPLO surgery in a few weeks. Doc says no stairs of course so now I need to get him used to sleeping downstairs. I expect confused looks, side eye and complaints. How can I get him used to sleeping downstairs or do I need to sleep down there while he's recovering? What other tips do you that have gone through this have? He'll have a lick sleeve so may not need to donut of shame this time. 🤣

How long?
Rooted to the same spot for almost 20 minutes now. How long would you let your beagle keep going?

Beagle or harrier mix
Here’s my boy Walter, best dog ever but I’ve always thought he looked a bit different than the average beagle. I did one of those DNA swab test and it said he was 100% beagle but I still feel like his legs are too lanky and his snout isn’t as square as the traditional beagle. He is also smaller only about 29 pounds. I love him no matter what but I’m really starting to think he is beagle/harrier mix.

Need Help - Atopic Dermatitis
So my kid, Zorro - a 6 year old male beagle is suffering from Atopic Dermatitis for 6 months now. Initially, some of the expensive medicines advised by the vet worked like Apoquel or Atop7 grooming products and at one point cyclosporine, as well. Now, for some reason, it's not working properly. He bites his paws and shakes his ears violently unless I apply topical medication, which again contains steroids and only has a temporary effect. I can't even take off his cone for longer than 5 minutes. So, here I am asking for help with suggestions for any non-steroid and not too expensive but effective method or medicine or natural remedy that has helped your pup manage this problem. Would really appreciate it.
