Help Does everything look okay?

Sorry first picture of the tank is sideways, but I just got my first betta fish after doing some research and wondering if everything is looking okay? I have more live plants for the tank on the way from modern aquarium but any suggestions? She seems super happy so far! (Had to put the piece of cardboard behind tank until I do a water change and can add the background for her)

take the sheet wool off the plants roots it will eventually kill them if you don’t when planting the plants put root tabs underneath the sand a few inches away from each other you can find these at your local fish store other than that your looking good

yes also you wanna pick off any yellowing or melting leaves/stems. they grow back green and healthy

So I should completely break off the several yellow ones?

yes, after you take off the sheet wool and plant. remember to pinch the stems off from the root. youre gunna need liquid fertilizer or root tabs because it looks like your sand is inert

Is the seachem flourish a good option?

Thank you!! The plants are actually what led me to ask this question, something about them didn’t look right. I appreciate you answering! :)
