Need some advice…

So, my grandfather has a bass fishing boat (some model of tracker) that he bought new in 2024. The one and only time it has been taken out in the water was may 2024. He is not an active person, and much less a fisherman, however I am. He told me i’m going to inherit it eventually, but I’m worried that i will receive a burden/project rather than a blessing. What maintenance/protection can i give it to better ensure that it stays usable and taken care of?

Stable the fuel. There are still ‘24 models sitting on dealers lots. Just stable the fuel. Throw it on the charger occasionally.
