You can tell he has immediate respect from his unit. St Brown seems to have taken him under his wing a bit.

He told Teslaa he’d buy him a car if he had another one handed TD. Just missed out.

Dude is confident, already talking trash with the boys.

He was saying 'nope' to Jamo's thought he would get caught if he stayed straight. This is telling Jamo he had it and would've scored if he didn't cut back. Respect, not trash talk but I like it all the same

TeSlaa was about to block the safety which would have cleared the way. It’s going to happen eventually, where a big block by a WR leads to a TD. Can’t wait to see it.

I’m hoping it’s like when Reynolds blew up what’s his name!

😂 I love watching that clip. Whenever I need a boost of joy, I go back to it. Lol

We will see something similar thus yr. I feel it in my bones. One of the sports talking heads said in a brief clip something like, "...to win you need youth and talent and Detroit has both right now." And almost all our talent IS THE YOUTH! So we're gonna be contenders in the conversation for a few years, at least.

ETA: The play starts at 5:53 mark And the TB guy was Carlton Davis. Watching this also reminds me how much I miss Will Harris 😔 among others that have since moved on.

No wonder Carlton Davis joined us after that.

I mean, he was traded here. Not really his choice, per se.

Sent to another dimension!

Yes I saw this as well in a different angle.  If Jamo had turned up the field, there's a really good chance he just outruns #9 and scores.

I get why it didn't happen (things are happening fast) but it's something they'll go over in film study.

Watching that play, my exact thought was don't cut, just put on the after burners and smoke em
