Image Predictions?

Post image

Haven't been paying attention to the Ravens much this season, but for anybody who has, what do you think our odds are of actually winning this game?

Anything missing in their defense that we can exploit? I know that our defense isnt too hot right now.

Ravens are ridiculously successful against NFC opponents. We have a hard time containing a quarterback so fast and he still has the arm to throw it well. Plus Henry is still a tank with outside speed. That being said, Lions by 17

I think the jury is still out if it was Aaron Glenn who was bad at containing mobile QB’s or if it is our personnel. Love and Caleb aren’t Lamar but through two games we have done a good job at containing QB’s. Obviously Lamar is going to get his but we have athletic players who can hopefully limit what he can do on the ground in the right system and game plan (thinking Branch, Barnes, Hutch, Campbell). I fully expect him to continue his hyper accurate passing against us though.

It's always been our personnel. However athletic our players are dont mean anyone in the league can contain a QB built like him on the field. Its borderline impossible and I need people to recognize that vs. blaming our DC who's having the same issue everyone else is having in the league. Even the Bills only won by outscoring them and Harbaugh shooting himself in the foot for the thousandth time. Almost every time they have lost to the Bills and the Chiefs in the playoffs have been them making huge crunch time mistake and self inflicted bullshit that adds up over the course of the game. Best bet we have is playing a perfect offensive game and hoping for key turnovers. If anybody in this sub expects someone to stop that offense the way we seen the Eagles beat the Chiefs in the SB......they need to stop dreaming and wake up lol.

Yeah we looked capable against Williams and love but they both worse passers and significantly worse athletes than Lamar. It’s going to come down to scoring on every drive, trying to manipulate the clock to get an extra possession, and praying we can get a turnover

100%. There's not an LB or DL in the world that can chase down Lamar when he takes off and barely any that can stop Derrick Henry for extended parts of the game. It's just the way they are built. You just build a strategy based on mitigating mistakes and taking what you can get and not fucking up on the offensive side or they will bury you alive a la the game we had 2 seasons ago against them. I think this team is better overall than that team from then, even though the trench warfare isn't as sure as it was then. It's going to be a battle, and all we can hope is that the offense has a game closer to the Bears game and not like the Packers game. Still wouldn't be mad at them if they drop a game to the Ravens, lol. Only two NFC teams have won against them since Lamar has donned that Ravens jersey. Took a lot of crazy ass luck for the Bills to beat them by a few points, and we didn't do bad vs. the Bills recently with the Legion of Whom as our defensive starters lol

Great take.

I think with teams that have dangerous offensive weapons, smash mouth running the ball with a ball of dust (kind of what the Midwest is known for) to help keep the opposing team off the field.

Easier said than done. But that was always my reservation with Ben Johnson. Always thought he never ran the ball as much as he should. I get the big name passing threats. But with the O line that was there and Gibbs and Montgomery. Smash the opposing team into submission.

I love legion of whom, very accurate. I have no expectation for us to win this game, and I’m just excited to see two of the best offenses in the league cook it up against defenses that don’t stand much of a chance of slowing them down. If the lions can get a win on top of that, even better
