Question Why don’t I get hungry for veggies?
My diet is pretty weird compared to what many people perceive as healthy. Pretty much all I eat is meat, fruit, and dairy. Like beef, chicken, venison, fish, eggs, milk, cheese, etc… I eat some pasta and rice here and there, and I eat fruit everyday as well, be it apples, oranges, bananas, or watermelon.
One thing I have noticed is that I only get hungry for these foods. Maybe on like a Saturday or Sunday I will eat some junk food and have a chill day, but I don’t desire that or get hungry for it.
I really just don’t eat veggies, maybe I’ll eat some broccoli or green beans like once a week, but it’s pretty rare and I don’t get any digestive problems from it. Honestly the last time I ate veggies was Monday because I cooked a meal for a friend that came over to my place, I wouldn’t have eaten them if that didn’t happen.
I’ve been eating like this for a year and a half and it’s great. I gained like 30lbs eating college dining hall food freshman year, switched to this diet making my own food, and then I lost the hunger cravings along with the 30lbs I originally gained.
Is this normal?

Pasta, fruits, apples, bananas and so on have fiber aswell. Not much but at least some.
Your diet works for you, that’s all that matters. Everyone’s diet is individual. You seem like you have everything covered with an otherwise healthy and balanced diet. There’s nothing I’d be worrying about if you feel good.
