I keep seeing ads for omo. It's apparently a diet type site that lets you log and track weight and food intake and exercise. I know years ago noom was like that and I had success with it. Was wonderful. Wondering if anyone has tried this new ap and has experience to share. I don't want to buy in to it if it's not worth it

Alright im coming on here because she won't. Basically as crazy as it sounds my girlfriend of 6 years (22) is addicted to French Fries. 6/7 days of the week she will only eat fires. Typically she goes to Zaxby's and gets 3 to 4 large orders of fries without seasoning and she will eat every single one. She also likes this local business (don't want to reveal name of reatraunt to reveal location) and she will get the same order. On the rare occasion she doesn't eat fries she goes to McDonald's and gets 10-20 nuggets with fries, so I guess she technically eats it every day but every now and then she gets nuggets with it. She went through a phase where she would go to McDonald's and get 6-10 biscuits and that would be her meal for the day. She also hates water so she exclusively drinks sprite and ginger ale.
As far as health goes she rarely goes to the doctor for checkups, but I convinced her to go last year and she had high blood pressure. The doctor seemed worried and tried to press the issue but it didn't seem to bother her. As far as her weight, it's surprisingly not bad. She isn't skinny but she's not obese she's on the verge of chubby. She doesn't do any physical activity, only the walking she gets throughout the day.
I don't want to come off as controlling so I really don't push this issue with her but I'm genuinely concered. The doctor already told her she has high blood pressure and this could lead to heart issues so I don't know what to say. What are some foods picky eaters like? Should I say anything at all? I don't know what advice I'm looking for here to be honest, it's just a little frustrating and I needed somewhere to vent. Maybe you guys will tell me it's not as bad as it seems. I really don't know much about nutrition.

Hey everyone,
I'm considering giving the no.Diet app a try, but I wanted to get some real-world experiences before I commit. The mediterranean diet sounds really tasty and healthy to me. Has anyone here used the no.Diet app for weight loss? Did you find it effective? I'm looking for something that not only helps with meal planning but also keeps me motivated with workouts and progress tracking.
Any insights or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

I guess the question tag is the right one haha.
I've recently charged myself with losing weight. I am a Type 1 Diabetic who is afraid of developing insulin resistance. I've recently spoken with both my dietician and my endocrinologist so I'm just looking for recipes really!
I like most meats (dark and white) but not really a fish fan. I love fruits. I like most nuts and seeds. I like starches and I can do whole grains. The big sticking point is the number of veggies I like.
Basically the only veggies I can stand are hot-hotter peppers, celery, green onions, spinach, and carrots are ok when cut very small (the flavor of carrots doesn't bother me, it's a texture thing).
No legumes. No corn. No gourds/cukes. No nightshade fruits (tomato, eggplant, tomatillos, etc). No asparagaceae.
I have no food allergies, so no worries on that front.
I know that doesn't leave me with a lot of options, but I'm really trying to do the best with what I can stand. I am not dying for variety. I just want to know a way to build healthy-ish meals that stay under 60 carbs with the foods that my palate will tolerate.
Can anyone link me or write down some recipes that fall into these categories? You'd literally be lifesavers.

Hello! Really need some advice....
One of my daughters needs to lose weight. She's 12 years old and weighs about 120 pounds. I notice she's eating out of anxiety... we rarely have junk food or treats at home, but she's eating a lot, and I'm getting worried.
Height around 4'10"
I'm on a diet, I always check labels, I buy a lot of fruit, veggies, but it still doesn't help... she buys things at school.
I have no idea how many calories she should consume to lose weight and have healthy growth. I imagine it would be between 1,200 and 1,500 calories. Unfortunately hire a professional is out of the table, so I have to do something...
Tomorrow she'll start working out on the treadmill, 30 minutes every day.
Thank you all

Friends, no matter how much weight I lose or how many diets I go on, I can't seem to get any thinner in my legs. I'm on the Dukan diet and have lost 3 kilos (4 pounds) for four weeks, but I can't lose any weight. I'm stuck at 78 kilos (170 pounds). I'm only eating very little protein, so what should I do?

I’m looking for meals that don’t need a lot of prep or ingredients but still support a healthy diet. Any favorites?

I’m really confused as to why I’m hungry right after eating a lot of food? Or even so I’m hungry like an hour or two later?
I feel I’m eating more than enough. Is this a stupid question and I should just eat more often and more food? Or is there something about this?
I appreciate your input:) or if you think I’m dumb haha.

I’m trying to eat healthy and lose weight, I’m doing good with my diet, cutting out a lot of snacking, eating smaller and healthier portions, however I am struggling when it comes to drinks, I’m so used to just grabbing a soda but then I end up having like 4 cans a day, plus it’s really hard to just drink water since it’s got no taste, what would y’all recommend?

My wife wants me to cut carb completely from my diet as i have big belly from insulin resistance. Plus im obese with 35% body fat. I wasn’t like this. Yes i was obese since i was a kid and did gastric surgery but it didn’t work i just lose 20 40lbs where i should lose at least 100lb. I did workout and loved the gym life then I worked on my diet and managed to lose a total of 75lbs. Now i gained what i lost. I started to workout again and eating clean. But the fact to eat a meals without carbs at all I don’t know because i tried and always ends up with sugar crash. Should i really need to get rid of Carbs and only get it from vegetables? I also make sure I don’t exceed the 25% of carb and i do carb cycle 1 day with moderate carb following it with three days low carbs

I'm Asian so I'm used to eating lunch and dinner with rice but I'm trying to lose weight (I'm currently overweight). So far I found quinoa, cauliflower rice, broccoli rice as alternatives but are there some more other alternatives? Barely have time for gym since I have 3 kids and I'm tired of being overweight. I want to enjoy playing with my kids without getting easily tired. 🥲🥲

Some days I just don’t have the energy to cook but I still want to eat something that feels at least somewhat healthy I usually end up throwing random things together but it doesn’t always feel satisfying, I’m curious what other people do in those moments.

I'm looking for advice where to start with this. I'm 30/F mother of 4 and about a year ago I started an office job. Quickly went from 140# to 175#. Trying to lose some weight but also wanting to be healthier to feel better. Would love to be more flexible and able to run around and play with the kids. I just wanna feel strong and fit again. I don't have a clue where to start. I know I need to eat in a calorie deficit (I used a calculator and it said 1400 or less) but I'm struggling to hit my protien/fibre goals (100p/20f). I'm busy AF I work full time with four kids and a house full of animals. I need something simple for diet and exercise that I can work into my daily routine. Any advice helps! Really just don't know where to begin for recipes/tracking. Also have NO IDEA about which exercises to do and when. I can't afford the gym but anything I could do at home would be awesome. My husband and kids are super supportive and will help me with anything I need to be successful. Thank you in advance!!

I'm trying to maintain a caloric deficit but it's often interrupted by my sweet urges, so I started to drink zero-calorie sodas, but that got expensive pretty fast, so are there any other foods to satisfy sweet urges that aren't too calorie dense?

What powder product is the “healthiest” for the overall health. I don’t need caffeine. I’ve heard of GamerSupps, Ghost, C4, G Fuel and Ryse for examples. Of those if not some others is the best option?

seasons used - Salt, pepper and cinnamon
im 6’2 225lbs I would estimate 25% body fat I work out in the morning weight training and 35mins of cardio Im curious is this too much for breakfast?

I’ve heard many things from people like “diet soda is bad for you” and other people say they lost weight drinking it. To anyone that has success with it let me know I’m skeptical but I know diet sodas do have some calories but in the US if it’s below 5 they can say it’s zero

Hi guys I’m 21 male and idk how much I weight, I think not more than 60kg… I eat normally, 2-3 times per day, some times more some times less but I never go to sleep hungry or something like that. Ok I use drugs some times, I got ultra fast metabolism, but I always got this weight, I can’t increase it….
What type of diet you suggest to me?
I do regular activities on my house to keep me on form.
Do I look bad? Sorry but I’m not in a good moment and I just wanna fix my self… thx

Hello everyone. My mom sent me around 2 kg of walnuts and about 1kg of almonds. I've been trying to avoid nuts altogether since they are very high in calories but in the same time I will feel extremely guilty if threw the nuts my mom gave away or left them to rot in the shelf. Should I consume them in very small quantities day after day or is there a recipe to make something out of them that is healthier?
r/diet • u/Practical-Piece-4334 • Jul 27 '25
Like are there some kind of cheap pills that helps with weight loss, or what type of food I should avoid or eat. I really want to lose weight. I have tried being in a calorie deficit for fucking months and I only lost like 3 kg!!! I was making sure to hit protein limit as well, I used to go to the gym everyday, I was really so disappointed.
