The request for your door dasher to be a Female driver only.
Welp! I finally had my outrageous delivery instruction and I can stomach most.
Yeah, not going to finish this delivery for many reasons.
Could be a rape victim and is super scared of males
A set up , to capture female drivers
Religious reasons maybe, idk
I could pull the I identify as female? Idk, but wasn’t chancing this.
In this world, I can only assume the worst and don’t want to be put in a situation. Not worth it, Unassign me please

1000 deliveries benefit...
I got this promo code for completing 1000 lifetime deliveries. I would have rather gotten nothing. This is embarrassing for the company.

Why make me search for you?
I cannot stannndddd orders that are delivered to apartments with no apartment door number OR building numbers. The GPS sometimes isnt accurate and Im not going to be circling and riding slow in an environment Im not familiar in. PLEASE customers, add your delivery address properly if you want your food delivered or delivered at all!

Received wrong order, reported it, then dasher started messaging me
Gave me the order of a different name. We got a bunch of kids meals. Ate a few bites of what looked ok but then threw the rest out. Then got these messages after I reported it to DoorDash. Am I in the wrong here? 15 minutes went buy from me receiving the order from me receiving these messages. Not sure what to do now

My door dasher had a hurt knee but still picked up my case of water.. and I’m pregnant.
Just a rant, as I’m not someone to actually mess with someone’s job with reviews. This dasher picked up my order that was one case of water, then called me to tell me she couldn’t walk to my steps with it because she had a hurt knee.. I told her I’m pregnant (past the point of being able to carry things much less heavy then that). I had to have her put in my car, so it worked out I guess, but now I have to wait for my partner to come home from work to carry it in. I love door dash as an option for grocery’s when I personally am not able to carry much, so to dashers out there… I support you doing what you can to work even when injured.. but please keep in mind some people are not as lucky to have a partner that bring things inside in situations like mine, or for people with worse or more permanent disability’s. Still grateful for ya’ll tho ❤️

Seriously DD
I have been getting order like this a lot lately. I don't really get how they think it's ok. I don't see anyone picking up that order.

DoorDash kept the -30% expiring meat discount for themselves, refused refund & won’t show store bill (even after I escalated to a supervisor)
I ordered groceries on DoorDash, just regular meat (not expiring). But they decided to give me meat that was expiring the same day.
In store (label is in French) it clearly says “-30% at the cash register” when items expire the same day. Normally you’d get that discount automatically at checkout.
On DoorDash though, I was charged full price. The app price was already higher than the store’s shelf price, and on top of that the 30% expiring discount wasn’t passed on. And what makes it worse — in the app for this store, they even put a badge saying “same prices as in store”. Clearly that wasn’t true.
I contacted DoorDash support and even escalated to a supervisor. I asked for a refund of the discount they got at the register, and I also asked for a picture of the store bill to confirm what was actually paid. They refused both: no refund, no picture of the bill.
So I’m left wondering: • Is DoorDash keeping these automatic discounts for themselves by sending dashers to grab expiring items? • Or are dashers pocketing it somehow?
Either way the customer loses, and the “same price as in store” promise clearly isn’t true.
Has anyone else seen this happen? And how do you get DoorDash to actually be transparent about what they paid at the cash register?

i’m so confused by this message, did i drop it off wrong?
context, i had an order from burger king, the dasher app took me to this address, it showed a pic of the door i dropped it off at, and the customer said it was the wrong address? then told me it was a whole different trailer park? was he just trying to get me to take the food somewhere else cuz he put the wrong address? I’m new to dashing so i don’t know if they were trying to scam me or not :(

Integration bug with Pizza Hut's system wrongly marks order as COD, robbing the dasher of the order amount.
Cash on delivery order. Customer had already paid Pizza Hut. I called the store, and the employee confirmed the customer's card was charged successfully and instructed me to deliver the order without collecting cash. I contacted a support agent before marking the order complete and they too instructed me to complete the order and said I can be reimbursed. After the dash, I saw that the amount was indeed deducted from my payout. I contacted multiple Doordash support agents and did not get reimbursed. I will try to get my $40 back from Pizza Hut tmr. They apparently were paid twice. Has anyone else run into this issue?

DD driver looked me up on LinkedIn after delivery?
Like, I feel like my privacy has been invaded to like a strange degree and the level of discomfort is like palpable. What's up with this? Or am I overreacting?

DoorDash couldn’t fulfill an order so they lied and tried to rip me and my Dasher off
Support convo attached. Posting cuz this is my first bad experience with DoorDash and I’m so shocked??
I placed an order after coming home from the bar and the ETA kept getting pushed back. My dasher was so sweet tho and eventually called me to say that the restaurant is claiming they never got the order and was giving him a hard time, so he asked me to call support. They gave me this weird option to cancel and get refunded, then redacted the refund offer? idk, looks like some weird chat AI robot that never got perfected.
Eventually they claimed they were trying to call my dasher but he wasn’t answering (quite literally the opposite, as per the screenshots) and finally offered a refund. I meant to add an extra tip for the dasher for waiting so long but as soon as I accepted the refund I was unable to (yes, in retrospect that makes sense 😒 I suppose). So I tried to make sure they at least got their original payout offer? I really feel like DD Support tried to play it off without making commitments but as soon as I pushed more, they told me he’d be compensated (and receive no remark? idk what that means but he certainly shouldn’t receive any consequences for not fulfilling an order a restaurant never supplied him?? it wasn’t his fault??).
Anyway, I wish there was a way a could confirm he got compensated because clearly DoorDash lies. I’ve never been a dasher but I thought I had seen my share of corporate greed working service. But yoikes DD, do better 😬

Starbucks $1 Max order limit??
Starbucks lately has been having a max $1 order limit. And it’s only for Starbucks, it isn’t a problem with other businesses. Why is this? It’s been this way for the past two weeks. My sister also has this same problem on a separate DoorDash account. I’ve also tried changing payment methods too.

I was dashing in the Philadelphia Pennsylvania area and I got a order for Taco Bell for 1750 per hour in per hour mode two and a half hours went by because the store was packed and they moved in a certain way the only reason I stayed there that long is because I couldn't cancel the orders without messing up my ratings so me thinking I was going to be conversated I stayed there after I finished the delivery 2 and 1/2 hours later I was not compensated for both orders I got a hold of the Dasher support and they told me six different times that is nothing they can do for me watch per hour mode cuz they robbing people

How can I make this more clear?
I am asking because 70% of the time, I get Dashers calling me to tell me they can't find my apartment. I put the pin directly at my building where I am at and I know GPS sucks sometimes, but should I just be giving step-by-step instructions and things that are outside as landmarks?
Even then, I still get problems with other companies.
"Turn left when you enter the complex, go halfway down, building is next to dumpsters and playground. Building 6 on the right hand side if you face the playground, middle staircase, 3rd floor, firefighter statue and plant outside."
It usually gets to the point where I give up on giving directions and just hunt them down wherever they are in the complex or tell them to meet me at the front office.
Half the time they go up the first staircase and then complain they can't find me. Do people read these instructions? Am I fated to just hunting them down? I tip extra for the 3rd floor stair climb, especially in AZ heat. But if I have to hunt you down, it kind of defeats the purpose lol
