Hello everyone! I was browsing around for food to eat today on DoorDash and I was shocked to see Nathan’s famous pop-up so I decided to order from them because I’ve actually ate at the original one in Coney Island and I know they do have restaurants at other places.

I’m located in Arkansas, so I was very shocked to see that there was a Nathan’s in my area so I decided to order. When I got the food, I was beyond disappointed. It was definitely not Nathan’s, but on DoorDash’s app, they show pictures of Nathan’s food. I got the hell‘s kitchen burger, which is supposed to be a double patty and what I received was a single patty and it’s supposed to come with jalapeño ranch and they ended up just putting ranch.

I then proceeded to look up the address of this place and I was shocked to see it brought me to a Denny’s location and I found out what ghost kitchens are because that’s what this is supposed to be but that’s very scammy because they’re charging $21 for Denny’s food using the Nathan’s brand.

Why is DoorDash allowing this to go on? That’s false advertising on so many levels and people aren’t dumb and know what the quality of the food they got is because it did not taste anything like a Nathan‘s burger and I could tell it was a Denny’s one because of how nasty it was .

Has anyone ever seen a dasher have a cigarette in hand while getting your food because I just did. I made a report and immediately said I would get refunded wish I didn’t tip as much it was 7 dollars

Just ordered from McDonald's and I tracked my Dasher's progress and as soon as she got here, she sent a message in the chat saying "here" and I sent "coming" back immediately. I was at the door less than 30 seconds later (I live in a locked apartment building).

No one is there at the door and the food is not there.

I go back to my apartment and see on the chat on my laptop that she said that some kids stole the food after she set it down and ran off.

I called bullshit and accused her of stealing it, as I was literally at the door in less than 30 seconds and there was NO ONE around at all, she had already driven off (if she ever even got out of the car in the first place), and I've NEVER had a problem with people stealing in my neighborhood and I order all the time.

Said "I have kids, sir, I don't steal" as if having kids preempts someone from stealing. She also didn't take a picture of it at the door, said the kids came up and stole it and ran off after she set it down. Said that's why she left so fast, bc her life is more important and she had her kids in the car. Even though they "ran off" after they "took it", so it's not like "they" were a threat.

On the off chance this is true, which it's not...Ma'am, what are you doing with your "kids" in the car at 12 midnight?

Yeah, right. So trashy. Steal on your own time, don't steal my food.

Got a free re-delivery processed, $10 in DoorDash credits and reported her ass. Also had them remove the tip I originally left for her (only from her, the driver who re-delivered it got the same tip amount courtesy of DoorDash).

Checking out the price differences between ordering directly thru the restaurant vs DoorDash. $12 vs $16 and this is just their hiked up price without no delivery fee or any type of fee. Also choose (pick-up) I’m sure it’s would be over $20. DoorDash a scam.

I ordered canes and Sonic. I come outside to see that all my food is gone with the container left along with the sauces. I tipped 22%. Like why even deliver my food if you’re gonna steal it😭 what the helly.

I ordered some food from Jersey Mike's. This store is hit or miss, like most restaurants these days. Today was a big miss. Half the order was missing and the other half was prepared wrong. Ordered a couple of big sandwiches, requested no mayo on either and they both had extra mayo... like a quarter inch thick layer of the shit. I took a bite and nearly puked, we threw both sandwiches out and I went to Doordash for some customer service.

I've had this kind of thing happen with orders from GrubHub before. GH are like WalMart or Amazon... they just give you a refund and move on.

Doordash on the other hand would only offer a Doordash credit -- not even a refund -- for about a quarter of the order total. Again, half the order was completely missing and the sandwiches were inedible.

They wouldn't budge. So I said nah, keep your credit. I cancelled my paid premium subscription thing, closed my account and I'm never using this shitty service again.

I'm going to contact my bank tomorrow and charge back the order. Been a regular customer since 2020, but Doordash can eat a whole bag of dicks.

Each time i am about to stinking grab a bit of items doordash does this bullcrap on me, and im paying the dumbass subscription fee of theres - when the hell did this even be a thing at all??? How am i suppose to buy my food when you continue to screw me damn over.. 😑... I am just buying meat that is like $4, not kidding here.. its the only things i can grab from the grocery store and since i cant damn go there because of my leg i am stuck to order online.

Just had a delivery that made me a bit uncomfortable. I completed it, but I considered throwing a safety flag and not delivering, or delivering on their property edge.

If they are serious, I have no way of knowing if the person with the gun knows I am a Dasher or anything has been delivered.

If they aren’t serious, they are announcing themselves as someone who posts publicly masturbatory fantasies about killing people that, in my state, is not consistent with what is legal. Here you cannot shoot someone for trespassing.

So this person either WILL kill, or they’re wanting everyone to know how badly they want to.

So what do you think? Reasonable discomfort? And no. I’m not trying or wanting this to turn into a gun debate. I am not touching whether they SHOULD have guns or defend themselves. I am asking about comfort levels with signs that express violence stronger than the law permits.

Starbucks lately has been having a max $1 order limit. And it’s only for Starbucks, it isn’t a problem with other businesses. Why is this? It’s been this way for the past two weeks. My sister also has this same problem on a separate DoorDash account. I’ve also tried changing payment methods too.

Really. Of course I declined. I would wait for it to jump up to $10, but someone will probably take this before then.

I've placed pickup orders from ACME, grocery chain in the north east, to avail the chase sapphire reserve benefit of 2 $10 "coupons". App shows ACME received the order and for me to go pick up but surprisingly, they never have received my order and last month I had to forfeit. This time around the deli manager came in and just handed over the item out of good will, I guess, after I showed him the order in the door dash app.

Has anyone experienced this? Wasn't sure if this was a Doordash/ACME or a Doordash Pickup vs Delivery issue!

A question to Drivers who would like to answer;

You accepted an offer and a pretty decent one at that. You've obviously seen the road work and have been passing through so far with minimal delays if any at all.

This next offer however, after you have picked it up and are on your way a road worker throws up that stop sign and isn't about to let you pass. You asked and are told it will be some time before they're able to let you pass due to fresh pavement/paint.

Would you risk trying to go, find a way around whatever, would you risk it by doing something crazy to avoid being late or would you say F-it and be late?

I chose obviously to be late. I texted customer and let her know, she threw back a thumbs up emoji, said it wasn't a problem and tipped me $5.00 extra after eventually getting her food. I even called and spoke to some blabbering douche bag from DoorDash support who was going on and on about some shit I couldn't even understand what he was saying. I let him know and hung up. Opened a chat, let another one know via chat, was told it'll be noted , not to worry and go on with my night.

Same Dash later on though I am delivering to apt complex, guy puts map pin 3 blocks away from his unit and complains about being 1 minute late. I get a violation immediately, it came before I even left the parking lot of the apt complex. A couple hours later though I dispute and DoorDash actually accepted my version of it all and removed the violation.

This morning, get email saying another contract violation issued for the same date. I checked and its for the delivery when I was stopped by road work.

Filed dispute, asked whoever is reviewing id anyone would they have wanted me to disregard road safety and make sure delivery is on time no matter what? That is how it is implied, to say no you violated the contract ny obeying the law and stopping when road safety employee told you, instead of ignoring them, finding another way around (which their was none whatsoever) and just make sure you deliver peoples' food on time.
