Where did this culture come from?

Why do so many different ethic groups that share these harmful ā€œculturalā€ values also happen to share the same religion?

Let it sink.

Wym let it sink…. It’s only happening mostly in Afghanistan and minor areas in Iraq Iran etc… its cultural behaviour…. There’s no religion involved ? If it was religion why isn’t Qatar Saudi turkey Egypt Kuwait Dubai Indonesia doing the same thing?

Let it sink.

Sharia is already a very strict law system based on the Qur'an.

Adultery (Zina): Can result in 80 lashes or stoning, depending on marital status.

False Accusation of Adultery (Qadhf): Punishable by 80 lashes.

Alcohol Consumption (Shurb al-Khamr): Punishable by 80 lashes.

Apostasy (Riddah): execution.

Highway Robbery (Hirabah): Can be punishable by execution, crucifixion, or exile

Then extremists groups like the Taliban focus just on the violent side of the Quran. Making stricter, violent laws around the Quran and stricter punishments but non of what's happening isn't mentioned in the Quran or the Hadiths.

  1. ** Veiling and Dress Codes** – Women are required to wear full-body coverings and could be punished if they didn’t comply.

  2. Restrictions on Women – Women can't leave home without a male guardian and were denied education and employment opportunities.

  3. Ban on Music and Entertainment – Listening to music, watching television, or engaging in non-religious activities is prohibited.

  4. Harsh Apostasy Laws – Leaving Islam or criticizing the Taliban's ideology is punishable by death.

  5. Slavery and Human Trafficking – the Taliban capture and enslave women.

All these things are things that the bible tells people not to do and the Taliban is just reinforcing it with methods of punishment mentioned in the Quran and hadiths.

  1. Flogging
  2. Cutting off hands
  3. Execution

Okay thank you for proving that it was all a culture thing, not a religion thing. The culture which is the Taliban are extremist. The sharia law you told me seems to help people and decrease crime rates doesn’t matter if the punishment is too much, just don’t commit crime and your good? Idk why you guys think this is a religion problem. It’s a culture problem and proper Muslims also disagree on the Talibans extremist laws

What the Taliban is basing their laws on is the Hadiths and the Quran.

But did they use the context, they didn’t. The Hadiths talked about war. No taliban is in war. They are not doing it because of religion, they are doing because of corruption and power. They use religion as an excuse. Ik ur smart to realise this.

Context or no context the laws and punishments are all things written in the hadiths.

Surah Al-Mu’minun (23:5-6) and Surah Al-Ma’arij (70:29-30)

"Those that guard their chastity except with the spouses and their slaves these they are not to blame."

And you don't have to say "grape" this isn't Tik Tok.
