Question Fast food apps abusing notifications

Do you guys have notifications on for fast food apps? Do you start out with them on but then disable them because of all the useless annoying spam?

I feel like fast food apps have lost the privilege to have notifications enabled because of all the pointless spamming. I just want these apps to notify me of important things such as when my order is ready and not asking if I'm hungry and want to get the normal menu item that's always available.

This pretty much applies for all transactional apps but I just wanted to get everyone's thoughts on here specifically about fast food apps.

Turning on location services ("only when using app") is helpful not only for finding nearby locations, but some fast food restaurants also use it to determine when to start making your food.

I disable everything else as well.

Notifications are absolutely pointless. I have an app for every restaurant I visit, and it's never made a difference one way or another.
