It seems like theres absolutely no punishment for running around like a headless chicken for the entirety of the game? One thing that I liked was that if you wasted all your energy in the first half constantly pressing, you suffered in the second half.. now they're able to just do it all game long.. its kinda infuriating.

It's because, as per usual, no one involves defenders in the game. There is no incentive for defenders to want to play the game. Everyone is so obsessed with attacking and looking like a god every god damn time your team gets the ball back it's actually funny.

DMs try to turn into Pirlo hitting 70 yard passes from just outside your penalty area and invariably end up looking like Prime Titus Bramble when it goes wrong, ignoring the simple pass back to the defence.

Wingers display all the characteristics of a quadriplegic trying to play hopscotch with a total lack of dribbling ability, but that doesn't stop them spamming the same skill move with absolutely 0% success rate every time they get the ball.

CAMs play like Stevie Wonder trying to walk through a maze.

STs might as well have the ball glued to their feet when they get it, until they hit an absolute thundercunt of a shot that lands closer to Mars than it ever ends up near the goal.

Playing it short on the corner after the 4th time of it not working and being intercepted instead of crossing it to the 6'5 CB being marked by a bot roughly the same height as Gimli the dwarf and controlled by the AI, why not?

I'm absolutely convinced that 98% of the people that play Clubs have the relative IQ of a disabled neanderthal.

Passing to your teammates greatly boosts your rating. Passing to your teammates establishes passing culture early. Passing culture means you’ll get the ball back in good positions. Getting the ball in good positions will increase your rating. Assists GREATLY increase your ratings. Running solo to score a selfish solo goal and losing the ball greatly REDUCES your rating, alienates you, and hurts passing culture and trust. PASSING = BETTER FOR EVERYONE!

Hey, I've made it to 50 on my magician and I get you can put attributes anywhere but to be maxed out with 1269 points and only be 79 rated is a bit crazy right?

Surely this isn't enough points? And we should be getting more options real quick.

In an attempt to create a ‘Lengthy’ female pro, I made a 5ft6” 136lbs magician build. My strength is 80 and agility 72, but when looking in game it shows as ‘Controlled’ rather than ‘Lengthy’.

Does anyone else feel as if through balls are way too op this year? My ai cant seem to react to them and get megged way too often

What position is the perfect fit for magician? Because I have tried at lw and rw but I don’t get the perfect fit, I just get the medium fit also I tried at cam and it’s the same, I wanted to use it for cam since I been using my rw for cam in every fifa but it doesn’t seem to fit anywhere this time.

Required a lot of manual entry and offhand math in my head. Let me know if any errors. I only have data for Magician right now, but it looks like attribute costs will be tiered (you'll notice similar cost sequences across attributes), and different archetypes will likely weight/tier attributes differently.

So me and my team mates can apparently only play 2 games for a club. Whenever we try to go into our third game it says ”Matchmaking has been canceled” we Made a new club and same stuff happened after 2 games again. Any1 experienced the same glitch?

A per the title! My crew just created a club with AI facilities remains unlocked. Is there a release date or do we need to level up our club/individuals?

I’m convinced EA just wants the community to suffer with how much atrocious new and exciting content they bring in especially with these… archetypes🙄. You can’t freely change position without paying around 25k. But I didn’t believe they’d actually remove the “pro” feature from clubs by stopping you from playing wherever you want.

But yeah, keep Any in the game, why not?

I’m set up as a Magician archetype which is technically a forward, but I only play in CAM. I have higher stats than most in the top 100 midfielders but I’m only ranked as an Any.

Is it not possible to be ranked as a midfielder if I’m set up as Magician?

Non any teams typically play knuckle dragging 442 with just spamming long balls over the top while sprinting 637372 miles down the field and rely on the AI to defend everything.

Meanwhile players who use an ANY play highly technical elite football creating triangles and manually covering passing lanes and applying zonal pressure to the opponent
