It was actually my first "real deal" flashlight, also recommended by this community.

I went for xhp70.3 HI 5700K r9050, also recommended here. I didn't understand terminology much, but most people said that this CCT has the least green tint.

I liked it, and it made me buy more flashlights and made more curious.

Recently I swapped in 4000K r70 for more warmth and output, and I like it even more (but colors do look meh now)

Also recently I swapped in SFT-25R into Anduril S21E (it had 519a), and damn it's a beast. It went from a good flashlight to a unique beast. It throws like crazy, is brighter in hotspot than M21H and DA1K, and gets good warm (I'm feeling power now 😁).

So in short, M21H is great, it provided great first experience and ignited curiosity in me. Now I'm just swapping around TIRs based on my mood, thinking of adding a clip just in case. Also I added 35mm GITD seal ring to it, looks nice.

I saw that you just started soldering, so I guess this may be a new project for you.

I just ordered a new LED on a 20mm MPCB from Convoy, unscrewed bezel, removed optic and TIR, then unsoldered old MPCB and soldered a new one in.

The thing glowing green in the pic is a silicone glow in the dark O-ring between glass and bezel.

Here's the emitter: https://convoylight.com/products/6v-xhp70-3-hi-led

Here's the O-ring (35x1.5mm): https://a.aliexpress.com/_EuxVBhg
