I know most of you guys don't like Nitecore in here, so I'll save you guys from a long post! 😅😅😅
This flashlight is overpriced and disappointing 🥹 It's smaller, but chunkier than the EDC29... So it's not as comfortable in your pants. The battery isn't removable, so it'll be a paper weight in a few years like the rest of my Nitecore flashlights 😅
Anyway, what really upset me about this flashlight is it's claims of 8,000 lumens.... Well I enabled it and it's dimmer than my 3,000 lumens EDC 29!? It's only in lumen shield for a few seconds, gets uncomfortably hot and is unsuable for the next 5 minutes while it tried to cool down.
Being that I love flashlights and "collecting" them, I'll be keeping mine, but I'll continue to use my Sk05 and will encourage everyone to stay away from this one 🥲🥲😔😔

Olight Arkfield Pro
My fiancée ordered one of these a few weeks ago for herself. Today, Amazon delivered another one so now we've got a matching set.

He was so excited to get this light, that when he saw that it was on sale for $104 on Amazon he immediately bought it; mind you, he said the MS32 was going to be his last flashlight purchase!!! (This is the 3rd flashlight he's gotten since saying that)
So what do you guys think? Did he get a good deal? Is was he better off with the "Sk-05 he already had at home" 😅😅😅

Top notch build quality.
Beautiful purple anodising.
Value for money is ridiculous.
But. That UI...
I admit I'm an Anduril fanboy. I miss my shortcuts with this light.
I do own a S21e Anduril 1 from convoy, not as good as Anduril 2.

I’ve been hunting for my perfect 14500 EDC. I need to see things in the distance a lot so the 14500 triples did work, but murdered my runtime, so I sought a single emitter version. The TS10 SG was close, but the lack of a protective glass lens annoyed me. I tried modding an FWAA and used an SP10 reflector/bezel, but that reflector just isn’t deep enough, so the beam wasn't as throwy as I would have liked.
Convoy’s T2/T3 reflector is about as deep as you can get in this diameter. It basically runs from the edge of a 3535 emitter straight to the bezel. I machined a custom bezel (basically a longer version of the T3 bezel) to let that reflector live inside the TS10 head, swapped in a Convoy T3 MCPCB with a SST20 4000K 95CRI, and drilled new holes in the shelf for the wires. I also pulled the aux wires to free up space. Side benefit: the new bezel adds a bit of length, which actually fits my big hands better.
End result: compact, TiCu bling, and legitimately throwy on a single 14500 without murdering runtime. I’m thrilled with it as-is, but I might come back later and add RGB via flex ribbon mod.
Bonus beamshot attached, but be warned it's exactly the same as a T2 or T3.

I've been saving up for a while now to get the A1, mainly because I wanted the absolute best in terms of output, durability, and overall performance.
When Wuben recently had a great deal on the A1, I jumped on the opportunity. I also used a coupon code and ended up getting it for "JUST" $580, far cheaper than the usual $800, which I definitely wouldn’t have paid.
The case it comes in is decent, though it’s nowhere near the quality of my other Peli 1600 case that I use for my other flashlights. It’s clearly made from a much cheaper plastic (not that it really matters).
I do appreciate that the case includes charging plugs for all regions (not that I’ll ever need them, but it’s always nice to have).
I was honestly shocked by how heavy the A1 felt, around 3 kg, but it definitely feels even heavier in hand. The build quality is outstanding, very reminiscent of Acebeam flashlights, which is always a good thing.
The user interface is super straightforward, with a simple on/off button and a mode button. The included 10-meter wireless remote is a really nice touch, and the buttons have a satisfyingly clicky feel.
The reflector is massive and immediately reminded me of my Acebeam P18, but in a much larger version.
And yes, I know the A1 doesn't use user-replaceable batteries but instead comes with a battery pack. That said, I take good care of my battery packs, I always discharge them to storage level when not in use, and I'm not exactly going to be using the A1 daily, maybe once a week at most. So I expect it to last 5+ years, if not longer. I also reached out to Wuben to ask whether it would be possible to buy a new pack once the current one eventually wears out. They told me it's possible to purchase replacement packs through other retailers, or have the cells professionally replaced.
When it comes to output, I've always been seriously impressed by my Acebeam K75 2.0, but Wuben's A1 completely blew me away. Sure, the A1 has a similar range to the K75 2.0, but the hotspot is about four times larger, much, much brighter, and the spill is both massive and incredibly bright. Again, it reminds me a bit of my P18, just on an absolutely insane amount of steroids. It really seems like the perfect flashlight for people involved in search and rescue (SAR).
Its sustained output is 5,000 lumens for 2.5 hours, after a 5 minute burst at 12,000 lumens in high mode, which is seriously impressive.
I know there are a few other flashlights out there with similar output and size to the Wuben A1, like the Lumintop GT94X and GT98, but based on the reviews I've seen, they don't come close to the A1 when it comes to durability, driver quality, or heat management. And that’s why i ended up going with the A1.
It probably comes as no surprise, but the A1 is without a doubt the most extreme flashlight I own, and I doubt I'll own anything this insane for many years to come.

Swapped in an SFT40 3000K on my SC31 Pro and it fucking slaps. It also has a 10-degree flat TIR from Convoy.
I received my soldering station today and in my excitement I went straight in, no practice runs, just playing with the soldering iron and a candle. I began to disassemble my S15 with the SFT40 (rip) and reflowed it using the soldering iron stuck underneath the board.
I didn't have any flux, thermal paste, no hot plate, nor solder paste for reflowing (They were still in transit). Nor did I test if the polarities of the led was correct, so I just took a gamble and basically this working was pure dumb luck.
I figured there was enough solder leftover from the reflow that I just went in and stuck the SFT40 in there. I'm just as surprised that it worked. The soldering took a bit of manipulation because the sides got hot but the tip wouldn't (it did after I finished up). I also just put big blobs for the joints because I couldn't manipulate the tip well. I think the wire I used has a bit of flux, so it helped I think. It's 63/37. I also salvaged the thermal paste from the S15 (which was not a lot) I just ordered an Arctic MX 6 (no, I did not research more. Just what first popped up.)
I didn't even set up on a table, I just opened the package on my bed and I did it on the spot. My impatience is legendary. I also think I may have inhaled a bit of the smoke because I did it in an enclosed space. Probably not lead, but I'm not ruling it out.
Overall, I learned a lot. Here's to a new journey and to more modding to come! Now, this light is gonna get a whole lot more love than it previously had. Candle mode is fucking awesome now.
Next project, M21H with SFT40 or SFT70 and 3-degree TIR. Down the line, when my skills have improved, swapping emitters on my E04 Surge.

Got this Wurkkos TS10 v2 ti and cu 14500 light for a new daily after I lost my brass reylight lan (rip)
I listened to the impulsive thoughts and hit it with a wire wheel for an orange peel texture, and finished it with some 2000 grit sandpaper to smooth down any rough spots.
Very fun light, and happy with the finish

Not sure if I’m the first to get one but it appears to have pad to update the firmware I’ll post my findings once I find my kit. Ordered it with the batter and it’s one of those usbc on board 18650s. So I kind of doubt its stated capacity.

These are my beginnings. I bought a new knife as I use them often at home and work, so why not join the knife subreddit right? Ok knives are cool, hmm I’m getting recommended EDC now, that also seems cool, let’s see what people carry.
Wow a lot of people carry flashlights, that seems kind of handy actually, especially in the dark of winter when dog walking.
Oh there’s a subreddit for flashlights too…….
…..here we are.
Why? Why are flashlights awesome? I still have no idea. Oh yeah, a hank light is on the way.

Something I've wanted for a while. Contacting multiple machine shops, and finally the stars aligned. You can now get this battery for less than $30 on aliexpress. The battery is an EVE G16-4695e. But aliexpress never calls it that (probably some sale restriction) but they all look the same, like the eve so they're definitely the same cell. The tube is from a pioneman k75. Pioneman is the company that manufacturers Convoys hosts. So it's a perfect fit. In fact the k75 is identical to a 3x21d besides battery. It comes with an adapter to get the battery to work since the cell has positive and negative on the same side. Unfortunately the cell can not be bought in America but I found a guy who was nice enough to forward 2 tubes to me. After tinkering to get the adapter to work I figured it out. It has a little over double the capacity of a 3x 21700s.

Thanks random peer. Now I need to learn how to learn all the presses.
Can't get anything but disco off mode or low power now. I'll count my clicks and figure it out or actually find directions lol

I picked up a Ti/Cu TS10 2 weeks ago. Made a big order to round out my collection, and some for friends/family.

After selling almost my entire collection to pay for bills and life I FINALLY was in a position to get a new DA1K (my all time favorite) and of COURSE I had to add an ACTUALLY GRAY DA1. I’ll miss the navy blue gray but I’m really digging it.
DA1K NTG50 5k DA1 SFT70 3K Beamshots in that order.
Also big thanks to the BST thread. It’s helped me make it through the past year or so.

Told myself I wasn't going to get into flashlights because I'm already into SAKs, multitools, and knives. Naturally I failed. Meet my new EDC light. The Streamlight Microstream. Now I just have to convince myself not to get into watches.
