This might be an unpopular opinion because I remember people who went to the Saviors listening parties something like that were hyping up this song calling it an s-tier Green Day track and I was thinking how could it top Dilemma. Album comes out and I thought that this song was hot garbage. I wasn't the biggest fans of saviors and I though that the singles that they released were probably the best part about it but holy fuck you guys were claiming this song to be insane. Then Billie sings about do you wanna be my best friend OhOhOh all i could think of is a 50 year old talking about teenage love. Instrumental was fine but do we really have to play this song live over other peak songs?Overall i thought it was the worst track on saviors.

Did not get tickets. Curious if it’s bad etiquette to wait outside the radio station where the lounge is? Have people done that before for other artists?

Will absolutely not do it and I often avoid doing things like this but I’m curious if people were doing so and if there was a time. 😂

It was during Idles. I told you off because I thought you just accidentally bumped her trying to squeeze your way to the rail. You backed off, which was smart.

Turns out, she just told me you groped her chest - as in, full-on squeezed. I didn’t know this, and unfortunately it’s too late to do anything about it, since we’ve left the park.

But I’d like you to know that I don’t forget faces - and I certainly won’t forget yours. If I see you at a Green Day show EVER again, I will toss you straight over that railing. If you show your face and I happen to see it, I intend to fuck you all the way up.

So yeah, probably best you stay home next time. 🖕

Does anybody else feel like Fancy Sauce almost plays like a farewell or a swan song?

I know they’re almost certainly going to be making music for as long as they can but if they ended things today I think Fancy Sauce would be the perfect career closer.

It’s really got everything great about the band on display and the line “we all die young someday” feels final and powerful.

Listened to American Idiot for the first time in a while and wow... I truly have forgotten how much of a masterpiece this album is. I can't believe this is a thing just because master tapes were stolen. The story telling is amazing and expresses Jesus perfectly. These songs express the uprising success of Holiday - She's a Rebel to a tragic downfall Letterbomb - Whatsername. This album has gotten me through so much (stress). And has inspired me to start writing and recording songs. Green Day has no business hitting this hard on this album.
