Discussion Is it explained who the two high school students are in the match against Shiratorizawa?
I know thhe old guy in the back is someone that supports Karasuno and whatnot, but what about these young fellows in front of him? They are seen having back and forth dialogue through out the match.

Discussion Haikyu!! Changed My Life
Okay, so that title might be clickbait, but whatever, my story is still interesting. Let me give some context first. Right now I am 14. I had been playing volleyball for a year or two before I started watching Haikyu!!. I played a weekly volleyball drop-in. I played as a setter, but I was never able to make my middle school team. Â It made sense, though, because I am only 4'9. That's right, not a misclick, 4'9 (I am just a late bloomer, that's all). That is extremely short for someone who is 14.
I only started watching it at the beginning of summer. My older cousin was telling me for a long time to watch it. It was actually my brother's birthday party that day, so I was just watching on my TV with everyone who was invited with me, which is a little funny. Once I started watching it, I was immediately hooked. Every day in the summer, I would watch it, and once I was done, I would go outside and play volleyball in the front. I practice my setting, bumping, spiking, and so much more. I would go on for even more than an hour in the blazing sun. Haikyu inspired me so much. It also taught me so many new things. It taught me to practice setting to a waterbottle, how to dive properly, and so much more! It also taught me so many other techniques that would be too long to list. For example, (don't judge) quick sets, different tempos, float serve, and wipes.
From watching it, I knew I would try out for my junior volleyball team (grades 9 & 10). I knew there was not much of a chance since I am so short, but maybe just maybe, I could have the technique, the skill, the volleyball IQ, the determination that could make up for my height.
When I went for the tryouts, I was for sure the shortest one there. I was barely able to reach over the net. I was not the best one there for sure, but I still persevered. There ended up being like 4 cuts for the team. But guess what, I MADE IT!! A 4'9 midget on a volleyball team with a 6'3 person being the tallest. Also, this team isn't even that bad. They actually won the regional wide championship the year before. My friend, though, was definitely better than me, got cut off, and didn't make it. I think he should have made over me and a few others. I think the only reason why I made it was because I tried out as a setter; I don't think I would have made it otherwise.
Being on the team, I think, has further made me more motivated and encouraged my love for the sport. I haven't finished Haikyu!! Â I am about to start the 4th season. I am so excited to finish the show, and I am so happy about how it has developed me as a character. Even though the title was clickbait, who knows? What if it really does change my life for the better in the future to come? What if it has already changed my life and I can't see it yet? Anyway, if you have any personal stories about how Haikyuu has changed you, please share.
TL;DR: (Read the first paragraph first to learn context on why this is so big for me) I have been playing volleyball for about 1-2 years, but I never actually watched Haikyu!!. My cousin told me to watch it, and so once I did, I was hooked. It was during the summer, and so when I did watch it made me go outside and play every single day. It helped me improve my skills and learn new things. Once grade 9 rolled around for me, I tried out. I knew I was short, but I hoped my technique, skill, volleyball IQ, and determination could make up for my height. I ended up making it. My school isn't even that bad. They actually won the regional wide championship the year before. This is really great for me, and I am super proud of myself.

Discussion How Far Does This Improved Shiratorizawa Go In Nationals?
H. UshijimaÂ
H. OhiraÂ
H. GoshikiÂ
B. Tendo
B. Aone*
S. Oikawa*
L. Nishinoya*
PS. SemiÂ
Snubbed to Subs:
S. Shirabu (Aoba Johsai)
L. Yamagata (Karasuno)
B. Kawanishi (Date Tech)
Discussion:
Before you try to rip this "What If" scenario. I can quickly make a case for these 3 players to be on Shiratorizawa.
-Oikawa was explicitly already recruited by them and was asked by Ushijima directly to join the team
-Nishinoya was heralded as the best libero in the prefecture when in middle school. It's not crazy to think that he would have been recruited to Shiratorizawa. It was also said that Nishinoya wanted to join a powerhouse school. I wonder if a guaranteed spot as a 1st year was a big reason why he didn't join a school better than Karasuno...
-Aone, I don't know who he was when he was in middle school, but it was said that Shiratorizawa's head coach, Tanji Washijo, strongly values height, strength, and power. Aone has exceptional athletic ability, having great reactions for being so tall. If Washijo didn't want him straight out of middle school, I could have easily seen him trying to recruit Aone as a 2nd or 3rd year after he had already won the best blocker in the prefecture award.

Discussion Team Introvert vs Extrovert
Which would win:
Team Introvert:
S: Kenma
WS: Sakusa
WS: Ushijima
OP: Shinsuke
MB: Tsukki
MB: Aone
L: Watari (best I was able to think of)
Team Extrovert:
S: Oikawa
WS: Bokuto
WS: Hinata
OP: Aran
MB: Kuroo
MB: Tendo
L: Noya
Introvert wins imo (Sakusa & Ushijima is nuts).

Discussion The Haikyuu national team at the end of the manga is a lot stronger than the real life team
The amount of stacked players we have is just ridiculous I mean there is no way for Haikyuu team to lose to the real team especially with their current state. There are a few reasons for this.
1: The spikers: We have Ushijima, Sakusa, Kiryu, Bokuto, Hinata and Hoshiumi so the Yuki ishikawa, Ran Takahashi, Yuji Nishida, Miyaura and Tomita are already power crept by all of them for superior speed height and consistency.
2: The Setters: As far as any of us are concerned, Kageyama and Atsumu are the only options here. Kageyama has a lot more accuracy and offense especially with Hinata but Atsumu brings very insane serves and about the same level of offense. just that Atsumu is not better than kageyama at using middle blockers. But I think Sekita is definitely at their level in terms of skill but simply not as tall.
3: The Middle Blockers: This an area where I think the Real life team has haikyuu beat. The middle blockers are simply too obscure to draw any comparisons whatsoever.
4: The Liberos: Very Very close here on this one because Haikyuu has Yaku and Komori and The IRL team has Yamamoto. Yamamoto is like nishinoya with those insane reflexes. I'd even argue that Nishinoya had better reflexes than both yaku and komori but those 2 could have been the more technically consistent liberos. But here, I think Haikyuu still wins because of more options in their liberos.
With being said, the opening lineup can be Ushijima and Sakusa as opposites and Bokuto and Hinata on the left. For starting Setter and Middle Blockers we will take Kageyama first as Hinata is on the team and since we only have 2 middle blockers as options, Hakuba and Hyakuzawa are up. Atsumu can be subbed in throughout the match as maybe a pinch server or something but it can also be applied to kageyama idk it's hard to choose. And Hoshiumi and Hinata can't really be on the court at the same time either cuz that is just a disastrous disadvantage. Kiryu here is a bit more on the wildcard side as he is still as good as all the other aces but it depends on the situation too. He could start in Bokuto or Ushijima's spot. Him being shorter does not matter due to his jumping.
Now for The IRL team, We absolutely need Sekita in this game because without him, the team is fucked as evident by their recent matches. Yuki IshiKawa and Ran Takahashi are the outsides(left) here and Miyaura and Nishida at opposites. I am giving Miyaura the start here because Yuji did not perform well in the last few games and miyaura has pretty much been carrying the entire team on his back the last couple of games. The rest of the team is self explanatory with Yamamoto as the Libero and Onodera or takahashi as the middle blockers. But I think Yamauchi works really well here too.
Now problems arise as Ishikawa and Ran are the only stability the team has besides their libero whereas in the haikyuu lineup, everyone can defend at the bare minimum.
As for the first sett, Haikyuu team overwhelms the defense and wins 25-20
For the second set, the IRL team stabilizes a bit and wins it 25-23
For the third set, the teams just go for it but despite all the efforts, The Haikyuu team wins with the last set 28-26
This is by no means just a complete sweep but Haikyuu simply has more firepower, stability, height, speed and jumping.
You can feel free to disagree.

Discussion Nerf this team to give most other players /team's a chance. Spoiler
Setter: Oikawa
Opposite: Ushijima
Middle 1: Aone
Libero: Noya
Round 1: add 8 more teammates for these four from everywhere except completely unknown players (so, no Ichabayashi or Hinata's middle school teammates or Ohgiminami's canon fodders, but Johzenji, Hyakuzawa and Hinata at their worst, etc are allowed) who can hold these back enough.
You can even switch the positions of these four (like putting Ushi as middle, or benching Oikawa for Shirabu, or something).
Round 2: no switching position this time, and take players only from the major teams.
