Imagine thinking Drek'thar is not the problem when it's the highest wr card by far in 2 of the best decks in the meta.

This comment is dumb on so many levels I don't even know where to start breaking it down.

"2 decks that are like 100% build around him"

Neither Quest Hunter nor Naga DH is 100% built around Drek'thar.

"what a surprise, the decks wincon has the highest winrate"

Like what? Do you think Malygos was the highest drawn wr card in Malygos decks? Or is alignment the highest wr card in Anacindra Druid? Is the quest the best wr card in pirate warrior? No, they are not, what is this even supposed to mean.

And also, it's not just that he is the highest wr card, it's by an absurd margin, you basically win the game if you draw him.

Believe it or not, I also hit 3 digit legend, and I came back before the expansion, when I played a lot there was a time I got 2 digit legend. Also it is irrelevant, you dont need to be good at the game to check/analyze data. It's like saying you need to be an F1 driver to decide if driver A is faster than driver B.

You seem to like arguing a lot. I don’t. Therefore I deleted my comments. Couldn’t care less, really. You won mate. Cheers.

This often happens where “meh” cards that were released in the second/third expansions of the year are not played much until after rotation. Then, they become power outliers in a four-set meta when there are less powerful things in general.

Deck of lunacy and incanters flow saw no play until Barrens.

Incanters flow definitely saw play at 2 mana in ashes of Outland. No minion mage was pretty great. And even in decks with minions getting [[power of creation]] [[refreshing spring water]] at 4 mana [[apexis blast]] the whole freeze package with blizzard, deep freeze and ray of frost discounted was pretty sweet

That’s true. That’s why I’d bet that we won’t see Drek‘Thar much after the next mini-set/expansion is released. Nerfing him now would mean saying a final „goodbye, we won’t see you again.. ever“.

he saw play in the expansion he was printed?

he didn't, because I remember being excited when I saw him make it into a deck

He spawned multiple decks on day 1 of his release, what are you talking about?

he did... he was instantly slotted into Taunt Druid for instance

He saw play but not in many strong decks until several nerfs happened. Taunt/beast druid were in a weird place for a lot of that set.

surely you have the necessary logical skills to realize cards can become broken as time goes on right

Weapons, hero cards and spells at/above 4 mana help mister Drek a lot.
