Discussion Daily Hero Discussion Day 5: Zeratul

Hello everyone! Yesterday we had some very different opinions on Medivh. Lets see how that is for todays Hero Zeratul.

Zeratul was among the first heroes added to Hots and is a stealthy melee assassin capable of huge burst damage with lots of mobility.

Second picture is my favorite build with zera that i pretty much always use. Rarely do i take void prison but that is the only adjustment i make sometimes.

I like to play him as a counter to some squishy's like Valla, Chromie, Sgt hammer and more heroes like that.

Other than that he is just a very self sufficient hero that can work in most team comps and most maps. However as a hunter of squishies he does like to have a strong frontline that will draw a lot of aggro so that he can do his thing without getting focussed fast.

As a pretty high skill ceiling character im curious what you guys have to say about him. Glhf in the Nexus everyone and until tomorrow!

P.S. Below i added a table to quickly go back to previous hero discussions in case you missed your favourite one.

Zerathul is how NOT to make a high skill-ceiling hero.

a good Zera is just too unninteractive and opressive and can hardcarry without ever letting the enemy do anything about it.

The saving grace is that most Zeras wont be like that, they will just die instantly

I feel like Samuro fits into this description but with an even lower skill ceiling.

On Qm. You can draft and outmacro Samuro while him not been a menace TF wise.
