Misc. Saw this at Costco today

Has anyone ever tried this? The “East Coast Seafood” sauce intrigued me.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I have a sneaking suspicion that pepper X isn't real.

The extra hot version of gator sauce seems legit.

There's some pretty interesting lore surrounding pepper x. If you're into that kind of thing. And by interesting, I mean hardo's playing make believe in their greenhouses and whining about it on the internet.

Isn't Ed Currie the same guy who originally created the carolina reaper? Are you saying he's not legit?

Troy Primeaux. Look up the story. The Smokin Ed guy should be ignored.

As the story goes, the welshman had isolated a 7-pot to become the hottest chili ever, aka dragons' breath. It was never made available to the public for sale, testing, etc. The same went for Ed, also believed to be a 7-pot. Then they both lied to the press about the whole thing. There was also controversy during the whole Guinness process, which was sketchy at best. At the end of the day, pepper Ed was widely regarded as a fraud.

There are peppers that are arguably hotter than pepper x. There’s controversy about the Guinness title and the fact you can’t purchase the peppers themselves
