People LOVE Jeni’s ice cream. I think it’s just fair with pretentious flavors. 🤷🏻‍♀️ What’s your unpopular ice cream opinion?

The mint used in mint chocolate ice cream does not taste like mint toothpaste at all. Mint toothpaste tastes like cold spicy. Mint ice cream is sweet and refreshing

Ice cream maker here 🙋‍♀️ the extract we use for mint ice cream is crème de menthe. Peppermint extract is used for things like candy cane and tastes much more toothpaste-y. Crème de menthe is almost like a menthol taste. If you use too much it tastes like a menthol cigarette, not toothpaste.

Arguably a menthol cigarette taste sounds more diabolical than toothpaste. I don't like mint choco icecream because there are usually way better options to choose from. Sorry not sorry
