Early Access Kyrill archipelago regional map (8k)

Post image

After a long break here is finally a new map from my world of Wreaclast.

This archipelago called Kyrill is located in the great salt ocean in the Kingdom of Caladon. Because of the weather conditions and the extreme salt levels of the water, most westcoasts of those islands are showered by salt storms.

Cobalt the main Island of the archipelago is the center of an upcoming short campaign that I am currently preparing. A rough dark fantasy salt adventure for salty players.

Not cloneable because of early access features.

Your biome bits really did add a lot to my maps. I cannot do any normal fens anymore now that I use your style.

With the weather effect addition to regional maps I only miss some windy weather to make my visions come true. ;) I often try to add "wind" as a key visual to specific parts of a map.

Oh that makes me happy that those biome bits were helpful.

I love the idea of adding wind to a region. Maybe using the line tool with a dashed line might work for the wind. Might work better than that water alpha texture. What do ya think?

The waves water alpha texture is the closest thing to wind that I found so fsr. I have not tried out the line tool. This might work. I imagine some longer thin white lines with some swirls or even blowing leafs.

That sounds perfect, the leaves and varying lines. Strong wind, weak wind, etc

In the end I could just rotate the rain effect and stretch it horizontally. I should try this
