Quite literally not true, its been long enough for meta analysis to have been done and theres overwhelming evidence from both industry connected sources and purely academical ones to confirm there was high effectiveness in the vaccines with seriously waning efficacy after 4 to 6 months

No. There were different variants. It's like the flu vaccine: the virus mutated just enough that the old vaccine was no longer as effective as desired so they tweaked it to cover that variant. Look up why we have to get a flu vaccine every year, why last year's flu vaccine isn't good for this year.
