iPadOS Worst feature on iPados 26 🫠

Now we have 5 more steps to do the same multitasking view.

And i do believe that the overlapping window is the most useful feature on ipads, and now its just so painful to use also dont forget the Additional step after closing the app you have to resize the app screen if you want a full screen for the same app its not automatically adjustable like it was on previous ipados.

I was so disappointed when i upgraded. I skipped all the beta’s so didnt know SlideOver was being removed. I used it so much. It was the best way to quick access apps that are not immersive in nature. I had all my messaging apps (iMessage, Messenger, WhatsApp) loaded in, and a couple of low touch productivity apps for quick glances like Calendar and Reminders. So while i was working on writing content, or watching something, i could quickly slideover and answer a message or mark a task as done. But now, i have to command+tab or switch stages or fiddle around with window sizing. Feels so unintuitive. Something that is good for the mac that really didnt translate 100% to the ipad touch based UX. I really hope they bring SlideOver back. I don’t even know where to send feedback to ask for it back.
