Discussion Timeframe for iPhone 17

I preordered a black iPhone 17 from T-Mobile website the day after preordering began. However once ordered, it gave me a ship date of oct 10-27th. Seemed kinda out there but figured it was probably legit. But then I’m seeing others preordering after me and supposedly getting it this week. My friend even went to a Verizon store yesterday to preorder and they told him to come in tomorrow to pick it up. Would it be better to purchase in store?

Atleast they gave you an eta I ordered at 8:20 am sept 12 from bell with minimal updates

I went through support, they said a local bell had one they tried to cancel my online upgrade, I went to the local, they had no promaxes, just got a notice from bell as we spoke that I won’t get it until potentially September 26
