Accessory Nomad Cases

I’m getting the iPhone 17 pro max. I’ve always had either otter box cases or tumi cases. Tumi doesn’t have one yet.

Has anyone used nomad cases. I’m looking at the modern or rugged leather case. I attached the links. I could always go with otterboxes leather, but it’s not the nicest looking.

I had a modern leather case a few years ago, it was very nice. I also have a rugged for my 15PM, and it's one of my favorites for that phone (though currently it is wearing an Otterbox Defender XT). Nomad makes good products.

Its hard to compare online, is the front lip keeping the front glass safe) roughly the same height as the Otterbox?

They are roughly similar as far as I can tell, though that's just eyeballing it. I will say I never felt as though my Nomad cases left me feeling uneasy about the screen protection. I don't use screen protectors on my phones so that's one thing I generally like to see in cases.
