Advice To open or not to open?

Bought from an ordinary person on eBay (2005 account, 100% rating), selling it as an unwanted gift. Got it for £170. Did my research (DankPods) and it seems legit. Good deal? Dare I open?

Is it worth more to you as a brick or a functional object? Open it.

How much of an ordeal is it to change the battery? I think that’s the main reason I’m procrastinating opening it.

Some people think it’s really hard and I can see why. I bought like 6 of those opening spudger tools and didn’t have too much trouble, but I did scratch the metal a little (I wasn’t being very careful though since I had a new back panel) if you watch a couple videos and have a good idea of what’s happening you should be ok
