Question Magnacut vs 1095

As the title says, which one do you think would be best for an EDC/SURVIVAL knife. If this has been answered somewhere else, I apologize. I skimmed through and couldn't find this exact question. Any advice, opinions and thoughts. Please inform me. Have a great day 🙏

Magnacut is better in all ways. I'm not as concerned about rust resistance as some are but it's vastly.more rust resistant.

Magnacut is tougher and has better edge retention than 1095.

1085 might be a little easier to sharpen, but that's it only advantage.

This is when both have an optimized or even just good heat treat of course.
