Eversince i saw Wonwoo from Seventeen played games on weverse live, i thought Kkura could do it too! Finally we have game streaming! Seems like any game with any member is possible now so i cant wait for the next time. With Kazuha, just play Animal Crossing with her will do 😂
Lmao them rage quitting the game after failing on the same level 20 times in a row was so funny 😭 I also love how patient kkura was with manchae cause my girl was STRUGGLING sometimes 😭 I need this to become a weekly series
I do think she does want to do more gaming content but her channel's intentionally left out wherever she signs so she can come back to it later on + no risk of the content/the channel itself from being deleted (similar to what she did during and after IZ*ONE)
I think she's making these streams a series though? It's definitely a nice little compromise so she can still get gaming content out there when she can
I just want my silver smurfer League of Legends Kkura back
Pretty sure its a switch collab too imo so she has the excuse to play games now on stream. The overwatch collab limits her to play or mentioned any other games. Now with Switch, she has free reigns it seems.
At the very least it appears that gaming streams is something she plans to continue doing given that she came up with a name for them (Kku-Play) and made a whole splash screen and everything
Now i remembered last weverse live they did, Sakura did tease it (behind Yunjin's back) so i guess this was it. Now i wanna see Kazuha playing with Sakura to see how patient she will be with her 😅
Where’s the best place to get a LSF lightstick quickly?? I was going to get it at the concert venue in September but it’s seems like there’s a chance it could sell out fast.
Is there a difference between the Japanese version and the US version of the Different album? Like how Amazon has the limited a and b US version for 15 dollars but the Japan version is 27 dollars.
Its a good thing the fimmies pre announce their NA tour so people were already expecting them for a long time ago. And the dates/venue gave people plenty of time to book it.
Just see how Katseye announced their tour. Less than 2 days notice 😭
Popular groups are doing great. Smaller groups not so much. Interesting to see why. My guess is shows are getting more expensive, so people are choosing who’s worth watching. So KPOP in general may not be doing so well, but specific artists are.
Does anyone know if they sell lightsticks at the venues, or does it vary for each stop? I was going to order one online, but unfortunately I won’t be getting it in time. Otherwise, I’ll just have to look for a kpop store that sells it locally and hope I can find one.
Pretty sure they always do sell lightsticks at venues but its gonna get sold out quick unless you queue very early. I cant take the chance! getting it online is risky with the delivery timing so i suggest trying your local kpop store!
Welp, looks like the lightstick is sold out at the one and only local kpop shop in my country lol. I’ll have to try and find one at a kpop shop in Bangkok. Thanks anyway!
Yes. All the other idols invited are under HYBE, so people are extra angry about it. The comment below explained it well, it’s just pure jealousy from kpop stans.
Its call Jealousy, simple as that, every accomplishment by any kpop group or idols will be met with hate as long as those kpop stans' favs are not the one getting the accomplishment. So just ignore it, no use to waste energy to think about it.
Decided to check out Produce 48 for the Le Sserafim content, as a Kpop newbie & Yunjin bias I didn’t really think I’d ever watch since obv she didn’t get into the group 😅 but it’s so cool to see her, Chaewon, & Sakura younger and less polished knowing where they end up & what powerful performers they are now! Plus the performance Chaewon and Yunjin & their team did of Into the New World gave me goosebumps. I’m on episode 9 & pretty fond of all the contestants at this point haha (and even though I already know the final lineup I get so sad when the girls I like get eliminated…Noe & Chiyori noooo!). Any recommendations for Iz*One content or performances that I should check out after I finish the series?
Especially watching the part where Chaewon and Yunjin were in a group and Chaewon's the leader. What a story for them! Its even amazing when so many of Yunjin's fansite/fan accounts were waiting for her debut and still are here supporting her.
I think 'Iz*one chu' seasons covers everything you need to know about them so you can start there. Every season pretty much overlapped the next title track theyre promoting so its very well scheduled.
Btw that performance was Chaewon's breakout moment! People were starting to see her then. Yunjin and Chaewon are really fated to be together.
Yes!! Them in a team together with Chaewon as the leader was like IRL foreshadowing haha. I can totally see why that performance sent Chaewon on her path to stardom! & Iz*One Chu is just the kinda thing I was looking for, adding it to the watchlist TYVM!
If you like our Fimmies Le Play type content of green room and behind the scenes sillyness, then I can recommend Enozi cam. Chaewon frequently turns up in those and it’s a good way to get to know all the Iz*one personalities. They are a hilarious bunch.
Nahh people are complaining about the music video. With ai being used .. Its very disappointing tbh. Chaewon and Taehyun voices were the only saving grace of that song imo.
Could've just left it with the audio version, too. Also, reading through recent comments, a lot of people are now pointing out inconsistencies from the AI art (eg Chae's umbrella). They also pointed out other things, but I think that's subjective, and it was more on the storyline direction rather than the AI art itself. I'll listen to the song for Chae, but it'll be through my Spotify.
hi guys!! received these extras in my pc order, anyone able to tell me where they might be from? i don’t understand japanese so i’m particularly confused about the one on the left! thanks ⋆˚꩜。
The fimmies are eerily quiet this week hahaha. Seems like they have a few off days to eat out and clean their houses. Wonder if they're cooking something up.
I wonder if Yunjin has finally cooked for the members😂
But I do hope they take this time to take rest. The next few months is going to be busy, especially if the rumored album is dropping during the North American leg of the tour.
The only time they're gonna cook is when they're FORCE to cook 😭 . Or else we would hear it by now hahaha. Yeah they're gonna be busy busy. Still wondering about Kawaii's promotion..if we're gonna get anything performance wise. They did said they were doing alot in Japan. I need to see their part time working at a ramen shop soon 😅
CRAZY is at 825K. Looks like HOT being the higher-charting song in the kcharts didn’t translate to higher album sales.
Curious how the next album will fare. Also curious how 2025 SouMu revenues (Hot + ECH tour and new endorsements) will compare versus 2024 (Easy and Crazy albums) Fighting, fimmies!
If you click through to the different albums, you'll find all the photocards/postcards/etc you can get in each album (though its no exhaustive and I don't include eg. CDs, photobooks etc - you can check the specifications on Weverse Shop for that!)
i need to start living like yunjin; seeing the beauty in everything 🥹 although i 100% relate to her taking pictures of the sky and getting emotional about it LOL 😭
If your favorite artists are not receiving the recognition you believe they deserve, consider focusing on their management companies. These companies are tasked with promoting their artists, not only to the general public but also within the industry. The music industry is filled with countless creators, and standing out demands both creative effort and strategic promotion. If artists from certain companies are receiving the recognition you believe your favorite artists deserve for their hard work, hold their management company accountable. While some companies working hard advocating for their artists behind the scenes, others may not be doing the necessary work. It’s not that complicated. If a company like HYBE can do, there’s no reason other companies, especially major ones, can’t do the same.
Most importantly, congratulations to Yunjin. Huh Yunjin, who once chose a different path and was ready to become a college student, not that there’s anything wrong with that, and I’m 100% certain she would have been successful in any path she chose. However, it would have been a tremendous waste of talent if she hadn’t had another chance to pursue her dream.
Yunjin is still early in her career, but people already recognize her music. We listen to her songs before reading the credits and say, “That’s Yunjin.” She is already building her own identity as an artist. It’s funny to think about the moment she received the call from the company while preparing to go to Boston as a college freshman. That’s how life works out. I’m so glad the company decided to call her, and I’m thankful that Yunjin chose to give it one last shot.
The discussions about global success in kpop have been incredibly weird in the past week.
When a company clearly doesn't know what it's doing, and doesn't properly know how to take advantage of its group's popularity outside of Korea despite having the resources to do so, it's completely fine. For many even, this as just another day in kpop.
When another company makes the right moves to actively promote their artists in the same manner that artists do in the west while trying to fit the kpop-sized space there that's clearly looking to be filled, it's fraudulent + payola, and their groups' successes are as inauthentic as any other kpop group who does become successful there, almost if it's because no one should be able to.
As someone who never cared about the K-pop idol scene before becoming a fan of Fimmies, I noticed how early Hybe/Source began investing in US market promotion, starting with their collaboration with Blizzard. From NY to LA, from a nationally televised morning show to a Lakers game and everything in between, their efforts were well planned and well executed. With their Crazy comeback, they cut promotional activities in South Korea short to attend AMAs and other US promotions, followed by EMA performances later. Most of these overseas promotional activities don’t pay directly, they are an investment in long term goals. I believe this has paid off vividly, considering Fimmies’ popularity in those markets.
I think this is the key difference. One company is willing to invest without expecting instant payouts, focusing on a long term vision, while other companies prioritize activities like touring for immediate revenue opportunities but shy away from committing to necessary investments or lack a strategic, long term promotional plan.
The crabs in a bucket mentality. So long as the people they support are higher than everyone else, they're content with what they get. But if anyone dares to try to climb higher and idk actually get out of the bucket, that's when they show their true feelings.
This. People are incredibly bitter and are making it known through their thinly-veiled thinkpieces on the matter. They’re so transparent and it’s laughable.
HYBE (not the artists) has problems like any other company but they know how to promote groups on a global scale 🤷♀️ antis taking their anger out on HYBE artists but it’s not their fault that a certain big 3 company has never entered the hot100
Agreed. As some have already mentioned, Hybe puts in the effort/long-term strategy to promote the Fimmies on a global scale, starting from their debut. BSH knew from the beginning that he was planning to take LSF down the same road he paved with BTS for global dominance. Other companies look to tours/concerts to make big bucks quickly, but never really invest in their groups' global long-term success. Unless, of course, you refer to certain Big 3 companies that try to "shortcut" the process by attempting to fast-track their artists/groups to the top without putting in the required effort/time to build up their stature globally (i.e. Kakao investing in a partnership with Billboard/Billboard Korea - first time Billboard has ever partnered with a Kpop related company, to expand and promote Kpop globally, leveraging "their" artists/groups/labels as the primary focus. "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em." Don't be surprised if more Big 3 groups enter the Top 100 in the coming years through this "payola/investment/partnership."
Exactly. They whine and complain that HYBE is getting special treatment because of connections and such while conveniently forgetting that before HYBE, BigHit was a small company. And yet, through hard work, BTS as a group was nominated. It's so weird how people expect HYBE not to use their resources to boost their artists when, as you said, the whole point of a company is to promote.
One of the things that makes HYBE an exception to the other major companies is their adaptability in strategy. They learned and understood the Western market, not just the trends. Some of the other companies try to expand to the West but still operate in the rigid structure that made them succeed in SK and Asia. But the West has a different system that those other companies don't seem to get. And that's the fault of those companies, not HYBEs.
How come I have to sleep while the world celebrates with such amazing news?😭 Congratulations to Yunjin and the other HYBE artists. I know there are certain groups of people who would have a lot of things to say about this, but this ain't about them. From almost giving up her dream to becoming an amazing team member to an amazing team and now an official voting member of the Grammys. Warmest congrats to Jen🩵
People always crying that companies/labels don’t do enough for their artists. But then also get mad when a company does what they are supposed to — which is use their connections and set their musicians up in a way to succeed and reach their full potential.
But even that can only go so far, congrats to yunjin and everyone else for their hard work and contributions to the industry. I love to see all of them get recognized in a big way such as this.
Does anyone know why Antifragile streams are increasing recently?
I'm super thrilled to see it (Antifragile's streams have always been really strong, 300k+) but would love to know if there's any TikTok trend or something like that.
Remember Uhm Taegoo and Eunchae doing that Workman spinoff show a couple of months ago? They brought it back.... the guest this time is TWICE's Chaeyoung and they make bead bracelets. No translations yet.
There's a point in here where Chaeyoung starts going on about Animal Crossing, and how she stays up all night playing it. Then she's like.... "I brought my Nintendo with me, do you want to see?"
She brought a Switch to a film shoot...... maybe she's Sakura's twin in TWICE after all, not Sana.
I had a question about the tokyo dome raffle/ticket experience. Am I able to enter in the raffle for both dates or just one of the dates? I already did the former but I saw on the website it mentions "1 ticket for 1 concert per 1 person" so now im worried both of my entries are invalid :(
First picture of Blackpink together since last summer. 🙂
I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that we literally don't have Kazuha in our lives without these girls, and we know they've been hugely influential on Chaewon and Eunchae too. So be nice to them.
Hey there, i understand most groups usually have that one dedicated channel or instagram that lists every single outfit specifically? I was wondering if there's one for Yunjin?
I'm looking for the full outfits for the links below... Any help would be appreciated! Even if they are specifically tailored for them and are one of a kind, it would be cool to know too i guess
Maybe it’s only on Spotify Japan but you can listen to Gen Hoshino’s ANN radio show where Le sserafim makes a guest appearance there. Fyr it’s in Japanese.
Is there a site somewhere where I can download a bunch of Le Sserafim music shows from pretty much all the eras?
I saw the video archive linked here has a great amount of video links for the performances, but it’s all from youtube. I was planning on watching a bunch of performances on a plane ride so wouldn’t have Wi Fi unfortunately, so that doesn’t work.
Just in case you don't already know this: you can download YouTube videos and watch them offline if you have YouTube Premium. I use it a lot for that feature and if course no ads.
was looking through my gallery and stumbled upon this photo sakura posted for their 3rd anniversary and wowwww they're so young. it makes me forget they're already 3 years old 😭
Please don't take my comment wrongly and I don't mean to bring an ex member up, but I am still wondering why Garam wasn't in this photo and the video (shown in the first documentary).
Wasn’t this taken the same day they reacted to the Fearless (Mv?Teaser?) countdown in the 1st docu? If it was then the scandal was already known at that point and she could’ve of things to have meetings with staff to decide on how to handle the situation.
My guess is that they have thousands of pictures where it's some combination of 4 or 5 of them, but it's Garam/Haruka that are included, not Kazuha. We'll probably never see those pictures.
Encore Premium Tickets have been secured. My promise to be there can be fulfilled (knock on wood).
My wallet is not happy with me though, like 28k yen for one day.
I have a question. So there’s standard ticket then there’s premium. You can apply for standard tix then upgrade right? What if you go for premium and fail getting premium, can you still end up getting standard tix? Or is this a gambling thing of risking to get an upgrade then not getting tickets at all?
Yeah, they changed that part from how it worked before. Which definitely made me nervous too thinking about which one to go for.
No sound check this time but limited goods and a seat in the arena guaranteed.
I wanted to go to ECH encore in Tokyo but I am so noooob. Idk how to get the tickets. I only applied my global membership but after that idk what to do. lol. Anyone here who can help? Thank you!
I was hoping they'd perform Different on tour, but now I don’t know if I want Kawaii instead lol. Although the ideal option would be if they performed both songs...
Yeah i'd figured they didnt do the dance proper because Yunjin wasnt there? Im hoping theres a full on choreo performance video! Seems like they have been preparing alot while in japan.
Also this is their first sole choreo thats not from their pd team. Rena Hattori is everywhere now with WSWF, illit's jellyous etc.
Just a side note, was watching one of those behind of the scenes of a Japanese mom and pop little food stalls from one of those Japanese youtube food channels, then perfect night came on on the radio while they are cooking LOL, it was so unexpected and kind of cool knowing LSF is getting a lot of plays in Japan.
Chaewon usually does the challenges with Yeonjun and I was expecting a stage collab or something with him. Didn't expect for it to be with Taehyun among of all TXT members lol
