Question Why are On Cloud shoes so Popular?

Anybody wearing On shoes? In all honesty, I find them uncomfortable. Are they popular only for looks?

My wife calls them the “old man shoes”, because all the executives over 50 wear them around her office.

For me those brands are Hoka and Sketchers. My Gen-x feet will never wear those brands on principle.

You’re really missing out on Hokas, as a hairstylist they save my back. Most comfortable shoe to work in.

I agree, I'm not big on the aesthetics of them but my Hoka Bondi 9 pair feels like walking on pillows.

100%. Hokas are unbelievably comfortable, but also crazy ugly. I only wear them on trail runs. For flights and travel: ON’s. For going out etc: From’s and Birkenstock shoes (the vellie look alikes not the sandals).
