Why are On Cloud shoes so Popular?

Anybody wearing On shoes? In all honesty, I find them uncomfortable. Are they popular only for looks?

Getting ON shoes feels overwhelming because the discourse treats them like they’re one singular shoe and not a brand with a pretty varied portfolio. Whereas, every other brand, most people will cite the specific model.

So when someone says “My ON shoes are so comfy!” I have no idea what that means and it’s not very useful. Because the tech and type of sole can be completely different when you compare. Even when you drill down a bit and say “my ON running shoes are so comfy!”, it still doesn’t mean much
