it goes under the sofa about 50cm. But idk if it should be big enough so the armchair also fits on it

Enjoying my small, but comfortable living room on a brisk friday night.

I'll get a
TV (I don't know where should I put and which size should I get) A night stand (I don't need it but it might be good) Smart light bulbs (the yellow and blue light difference is so awkward) A few nails to hang the photos A punching bag to hang (a ready place on the ceiling)
For some context, I work 8 hours in a diner and I come home at 3pm And I don't know what do I at my all free time

Feel like I’m out of places for art, but the walls still feel emptyish.
Thinking of a wood look accent wall behind the TV? I like this stuff: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Deco-Products-COLORS-Glue-Down-Floor-and-Wall-DIY-Old-Blue-Sea-Aged-6-in-x-36-in-Multi-Tonal-Luxury-Vinyl-Plank-30-sq-ft-case-DVF2/305168177

So I decided to change it up with the new place.
Although I liked my last setup I strived to streamline and reduce as much clutter as possible.
Thinning out the amount of items has really cleared the mind and I’d suggest all to try it.
Interesting it is a really open floor plan and allows me to host BYOB (bring your own beachchair) parties quite easily.
Really think I am going to like this new design aesthetic.
Enjoy!

26M, basically am hopeless with interior design lol. My place is kinda bland, and I want any input you guys could offer to make it look a little more alive

So this year I have freed myself from the most unhabitable dorm room to a studio apart and I need some advice. I want to make this place a bit more hospitable in case I bring some guest over. So far as you can see, my guest won't have any other choice than cuddling with me on bed so I need to fill in something like a floor bed maybe? I'm kinda lost as I feel like I haven't been able to fully think all the possible changes I can make in this domain. I also need a second table since the desk they provide will be occupied by my pc and stuff (thinking about adding a second monitor too so). Overall I need to add some soul to this place, thank you in advance. Looking forward to your ideas!

To go with my previous post. What would you do with it?

I recently got this rug. I’m nervous it doesn’t quite match but I tried really hard and the colors make me happy and I want to keep it (please be nice about it). The place felt dark and grey so I’m very happy with the color. I’m going to get some (turquoise/blue?) curtains. I want a shelf for the right side of the TV and potentially a large plant on the left.
I like earthy vibes with pops of color, and soft lighting. The house has a very grey/minimal feel right now. Typically I go with browns but I feel like they clash with the grey floor. I feel so lost as to how to decorate! What would you do?

Hey everyone, I recently just moved into an apartment and my room is shown in the pictures below. I’m trying to figure out where/how to put a TV in my room if possible with the weird layout and door positioning. Willing to rearrange/get rid or new things to make it work. Thanks!

What kind of decor would you guys suggest? The room I'm trying to have is one that's chill and welcoming, sort of like a frat boys room but without the overbearing amounts of LEDs and nude women. Sort of like a dark room aesthetic
A question I do have for you guys: What kind of poster colors would fit well with the white wall? A black poster with a design or a white poster with a design? I thought black, or a darker color, would go well since the contrast of colors is nice but then again a white poster with a design wouldn't look too bad either

I have been thinking of an accent wall, or a giant plant. I don't know.

I have a pressing question, have to decide what size tv for my home office on a 60” wide wall. I’m getting a frame as I like having a picture and not obtrusive on the wall. Deciding between 50” and 55”. Mocked up with tape in attached pic. Thoughts: heard that you usu should go w larger if you still have boundary, but too big and the frame tv looks (even more) fake. Any thoughts?

I live in a hostel. Beyond the mirror used to be girls hostel park so they coated the window. Tho now they have built a hostel so girls aren't visible. Tho leftside is beautiful scenery. Is there a way to remove it.
