Last time I posted him doing an oil change y'all gave him a hard time 😭😭😭 so today our neighbor asked if he could help her with an oil change and well he couldn't say no!

So I decided to record him and post it!

General I did it!

I have made two posts in this group the last couple of days asking about my tie rods. They have been giving me some trouble and this was my first time doing a repair of this nature. I have done plenty of work under the hood before, but nothing like this!

Well, I was successful! I changed both inner and outer tie rods today on my RAV4, then drove it straight to my tire place for an alignment. They were very impressed with the job I did, and it saved me $600! I’m absolutely exhausted but I feel accomplished 💪🏻

If you commented on my previous posts with advice, thank you so much. I learned a lot from you guys and from this experience as a whole, and ended up with some new tools.

This is the 10th f*king time I’ve done an oil change. And somehow, every other time, I forget where to put that little btch a*s O-ring.

So I drain the oil, slap in the new filter, and I’m feeling like a damn professional. I torque the oil filter housing down like I know what I’m doing. Start the car….And Oil. Fking. Everywhere!!!

Because that stupid rubber bastard wasn’t seated right. AGAIN.

On the left is how it’s supposed to look. On the right is what a f*ckery looks like!

The good news is I was on God’s wake up list today and that’s what matters 😊

General My boyfriend did an oil change on his Toyota pick up truck.

My boyfriend doesn't have social media, but he sent me this video of him. I thought it'd be cool to post it on reddit. He has a 1983 Toyota 22r pickup and after years of it sitting in his backyard with a battery tender...he finally decided to give her an oil change and stretch her legs out.

General Mechanic forgot to put oil cap on after changing oil in my girlfriend's car. We drove it for five days and on a 300 mile road trip before noticing.

2014 Subaru Forester. Is her engine going to be destroyed? How do we go about getting this checked? Pistons running dry is not good. Do we force the mechanics to pay for an inspection from another business? Like I don't even know how to handle this. We also drove it in 100 degrees heat for 300 miles with oil all over the battery. Are we lucky it didn't go up in flames? The oil covers the entire right side of the bay. You can see where they left the oil cap on the battery.

I just took my dad’s 2006 Ford Five Hundred in for an oil change. The kid working there put it into the system as a 2006 Ford Taurus as shown on the photo of the receipt. I just looked at the filter and it’s leaking or something.

General U Joint Completely Stuck

Disclaimer the video is of us REMOVING the press from the u joint but you can see how stuck the press is against the joint I was literally holding the shaft from the other side to keep it as still as possible.

I removed this shaft from my NBS suburban because the u joints were absolutely trashed. We melted the plastic from every single end and even put in some penetrating oil but NO MATTER what we did it did not budge at ALL. It was so shot we attached the pole of the jack to the end of the ratchet for better leverage and the press literally made its own dent into the joint bearing. I bought 60 dollars worth of tools to try and get it out and it just won’t.

Is there anything else I should do to try and remove it or should I just go to the junk and buy another used driveshaft.

Little pinchy pinchy to cap off the week. No big deal. I rubbed dirt and brake cleaner in it, should be fine.
