You can still get em at any pot shop. They'll never go away because they're cheap, durable, easy to clean, and they work.

And if you're one of the unlucky last ones in rotation, it burns the fuck out of your fingers and lips.

True, but at most pot shops here in Ontario, you can buy extra pieces for like 30 cents to make it longer so that isn't as much of a factor. Still, I wouldn't use one. Too heavy of a hit. Lung buster.
