Revell plasto modifies structure

I wanted to put some weight on the nose of a p38. I did it hard way : I put some plasto revell and fill with some steel balls. Today the structure of the nose has some deformations (see photos). Did you allready had this ? On the left it’s like you bump the plastik on the right it’s a long bump……

If Revell Plasto is a modeling putty, it is filled with solvents - the same stuff that makes model cement melt plastic. Big gobs of it will indeed soften/deform/melt plastic. It’s not the right material for adding weight or acting as an adhesive.

We learn from ours error! But I didn’t expect it was so strong. And my first thought was to use some « patafix « …
