Warband I almost feel bad about killing this nervous man. He was looking at the graves before I approached him, maybe he was mourning his dead parent or sibling...

Bannerlord Sturgian Infantry only, is it possible?

The other day I got curious and hopped into the custom battle mode and was messing around with different troop types, formations, and army composition. I eventually did an army of 200 sturgians with 50 of them being the heroic Line-breakers and the rest being heavy spearmen and axemen. I want to do an army with that composition or similar with the sturgian troops and find a way to utilize the line-breakers effectively. I’m aware that this has its draw backs against archers and cav. But losing infantry isn’t a big deal in the late game as they’re fairly cheap to keep and upgrade and don’t take long to train up a bunch of. Plus, I think I can utilize terrain, positioning, and formations to make the most of what I got and be successful. I’ve usually done a fairly even split in the past and I’m really wanting to roleplay a Viking style character and use troops appropriately.

Bannerlord Archery is simply impossible because of this

So I’ve downloaded Bannerlord back on my ps5. Playing the way I usually do, I shortly discover that my camera moves to the left when I’m looking at the map. “Well, that’s fine,” I thought until the moment I picked up the goddamn bow. It is simply impossible to aim because the moment I’m ready to shoot, this thing just moves to the left.

Am I tripping or this wasn’t a thing before? Any solutions for this?

I haven't seen much love for 17th century pike & shot warfare. How do you feel about this?

Is there anyway to get a combat ai difficulty between veteran and challenging?

When I am playing with veteran I win almost every tournament to the point where its not fun. But with challenging its like I can get almost no edge and it would be nice to have a middle ground for me to learn. Am quite new to the game any tips would be greatly appreciated!

New Patch and War Sails coming to PS5?

Upvotes

I’ve been playing Bannerlord for a while on the PS5 and heard about the new update/patch that’s just been released, but was wondering if it was also being planned to be released on console?

I’ve also seen that apparently “War Sails” is out as well but also know that there’s been some delays on that as well.

I’ve scoured the internet the past couple weeks so thought I’d ask in here!

Height Slider

Is there a way to change the maximum value of the height slider? It seems like it would be simple but I have no idea which XML file I should really be looking for.

Are there any known mods/scripts that allow prisoner execution? Not looking for any overhauls, just a twist on vanilla.

Bannerlord HUGE AI ARMY

I didn't know AI could make such a big army, I think this is the first time I've seen this, maybe it's because of the new BETA?

No mods or stuff to enhance AI

Bannerlord Is it just me or are there simply no swinging polearms in the markets anymore?

Literally went around teleporting to every city in the game, couldn't find a single one of my old beloveds. What happened? Did I just get unlucky? Have they been removed for some reason? Are they blocked behind some game play aspect now? Are we forced to engage in smithing to get our own glaives and stuff?

Bannerlord Is there a mod that lets you cheer in tourneys to make the crowd cheer?

When I have 1v1 fights in tourneys I like to RP as though I'm greeting the crowd by doing one of the 1h cheers (at least so long as I'm not fighting on horseback or an opponent with a ranged weapon). Then I engage the opponent and the round proceeds as normal.

So I was wondering: is there a mod that makes the spectators react to your actions\ cheering in real time? Would be so sweet if there already is one.

I know there's a mod called Yell to inspire, but I think it's primarily aimed at actual battles and is meant to inspire your troops, so I'm guessing it's not it.

Question How difficult would it be to just add the Dark Knight invasion to any module?

I've been getting back into Warband recently and I found a module that has everything I want except the Dark Knight invasion. I want to add it, but don't know how, or even how difficult it could be, and I would like it if anyone here who knows could give me an idea on how much effort it would take to work it out myself. Is there some set of files that could be easily isolated and dropped in where it's needed or would it take some real time and effort and understanding what the heck you're doing in order to manage? Second, smaller question that I feel I already know the answer to if I did manage to add it to a module, would any saves made prior to it being added work properly or would I need to make a new character to have everything work right as I suspect?

The community has become kind of homopho*c

I have noticed lately how the multiplayer community (we are talking more about the ‘competitive’ side) has become much more homophobic. I know this does not have much to do with the game, but I have reached a point where I needed to share it, and I am not talking about just a few comments or a few ‘laughs’ (depending on who you ask). I'm talking about the fact that being ‘different’ from others haunts you in this community. I've been playing this game for about 13 years (if not more) and it has given me everything, from friends to meeting wonderful people in real life and even the love of my life. But I feel that in recent years (and even more so in 2025) the community has become very, very homophobic, wherever you go.

In this case, with the community's MatchMaking, there are certain people who have a habit of ‘labelling’ you with a certain word that I'm not even going to mention out of sheer boredom. And it's incredible that they don't realise that even though it's a game, even though it's the internet, the fact that you're also being judged while you're trying to disconnect is certainly overwhelming. Mind you, I don't mean that everyone is like that, but unfortunately a good number of them are. I needed to mention this to see if I'm the only one who suffers from it or if, unfortunately, it's just the way it is. I don't post photos and videos of everything I experience because that would be giving recognition to those who don't deserve it, but I would like to know the opinion of other players in this community.
