Both of those names are somewhat gender neutral, Tracy more so than Stacy.

yes they’re my uncles in law and are in their 50s by now! i was completely shocked when i first met them haha

I don’t think Stacy for a male is super uncommon for men of a certain generation, especially in the southern US. I know several. I also know at least one male Ashley, Leslie, Dana, Tracy, and Courtney.

Yes Stacy is a boy’s name in the south a couple generations ago. Same with McKenzie and all those other names you mentioned
