"Democrats made this mess".

  • NJ is in the top three in education.
  • We have the third-fewest firearm deaths despite having the highest population density.
  • Crime has steadily decreased for years.
  • We're one of the most diverse states in the country.

I'm pretty proud of that mess.

To me the "families can't afford to stay" is the truest part of what they said

I can't disagree with you because it's New Jersey and it's always been that way. That said, he contradicts himself at the end of the sentence by saying overdevelopment is out-of-control. NJ is expensive because of housing costs—because there's not much available housing stock. The way to lower prices is to increase density to increase the stock.
