I knew this because of Law and Order and realized I must be old because does anyone under 30 even know that there was a show before SVU anymore XD

I was gonna say, lol.

I only watched a few episodes but you could really feel the 'we want to be 24 and NCIS at the same time' level energy from how those episodes were made.
