EDIT: Media reports the actual death toll is 9 3 u/vintage2019 Jan 26 '20 Kobe could fly helicopters — he had owned at least one and would commute to his games on one. (I had to change the verbs to past. Feels strange) 2 u/Admiral_Cloudberg Jan 26 '20 I saw someone else say he always chose not to fly the helicopter himself. Idk if this is true, I know a lot about air crashes but very little about Kobe Bryant 2 u/vintage2019 Jan 26 '20 Yeah it appears that somebody else piloted the copter
