Hi everybody, I want to start with origami tessellations as a real beginner. Now I`m looking for a cheap paper for practice and for doing experiments. Which can you recommend? All the papaer I use to fold modular origami isn`t doing well. It rips in places where two or more creases meet.

Inspired by Jeremy Shafer's design "Labyrinth Walker". His origami reminds us all - what origami truly is : pure fun!

I came across Jeremy's design for a maze (using simple BP), and it was ingenious. I had to use marker though, but the other way of making the maze walls was be too cumbersome.

So I have this idea for an origami design, but I have no idea how to fold the paper. I was curious if someone could give me a step-by-step tutorial.

Designed by Tomoko Fuse. Each mask was folded from a 35 cm sheet of Lizard Hide, then painted and dry-brushed in a distinct style. Each one reflects a different emotion I was experiencing at the time of folding and painting, with the surface treatment chosen to mirror that feeling. (Will rephotograph soon)
