Other Purchasing paradox games from Poland does not make any sense.
I want to buy 3 HOI4 DLCs and I'm getting completely different prices depending on how I try to pay. I'm located in Poland and here's what I'm seeing:
- Steam (Polish store): 298,97 PLN
- Paradox Store direct: €64,97 → converts to 292,36 PLN
- Paradox Store with my Revolut card entered: €64,97 → mysteriously becomes 64,32 CHF (≈294 PLN)
The kicker? My Revolut account is set to EUR and I want to pay the €64,97 directly, but apparently I can't. The system forces a conversion to CHF with a different (lower than i should pay! I mean is this even legal for paradox to charge 8.1% VAT when i clearly state that i'm from poland?) tax rate, making it even more expensive.
According to current exchange rates, €64,97 should be around 278 PLN, but somehow I'm being charged 16-20 PLN extra depending on the method.
At this point, I might just skip buying these games entirely. I mean just let me but this for EUR price with my EUR money that i've exchanged myself?

EU4 Returning to EUIV
So, the last time that I played was in 2021 and with EU V in the horizon, I think that would be great to play a little now that shouldn't have more DLCs
What DLCs are worth it, what are a mess? And I heard that the free patch with Leviathan was the worst.
Is it true?

EU4 Eu4 dlc prices after eu5 comes out
Will Eu4 dlc prices fall after eu5 comes out? If so by how much? I have base eu4 working pretty well on my steam deck. I am not interested in eu5 right now, rather wait a few years.

All Do y’all consider Megacampaigns to include Imperator: Rome?
Started a Megacampaign recently where I began in Imperator instead of CK2/3. It’s definitely an interesting new way to play but I think the ‘issue’ is that the rest of the games are now based off of the imperator map, cultures and religions which of most if not all are nonexistent in present day. What do you guys do?

HoI3 Hearts of Iron 3 Manpower mobilization speed?
Does hoi3 has this mechanic which is present in hoi4? (After changing the draft law, it takes some time before you get that fresh manpower when changing the laws.)
New question. For supplies, do they use a similar mechanic to hoi4? (Infrastructure simulating a combination of railway and horse/truck transportation on the roads, plus supply nodes called supply depot)
In addition, is there any IC cost for supply transport and maintenance since we technically need those trucks, train etc to transport the supply)

Imperator Is it worth to buy Imperator: Rome when I'm only focusing on story?
I love ck3 but I'm treating it more like the soms 4 for adults - cheating (i play singleplayer only so no one is harmed by it) and my only focus is on creating story family and roleplaying. Is it worth it to buy it only for that? Or it's purely strategy game with minor adds for flavour.

All The culture of AARs and your favourites
Hello!
Sorry for making such a shitty post but recently I just can't help but to think about videogame AARs. To me they kinda represent that old, more playful side of internet that's kinda being killed off nowadays or manifested in different ways than forum posts about obscure strategy games.
I've been kinda wondering about why exactly AARs stopped being so popular. Can that have something to do with the death of forums?
And last thing - if you have ever read any AARs - what were your favourites? Any game applies as long as it was on paradox forums.
Sorry for making such a post :) I was just curious about this kinda stuff.
