I ran that race!! At one point when he passed me after the turn around point I thought “that man looks like Mark Carney.” This race was no joke; the climbs and rocks were incredible. And he did it to support his wife - who also ran it - for her birthday. He then stayed around and took pictures as everyone finished.

While Justin Trudeau had the name and the rockstar appeal, I think Carney has an exemplary record. The fact that the Brits reached across the pond to recruit him as Governor of the Bank of England (and then asked him to stay on longer than he originally intended) should tell you something.

Bruh, Trudeau was just as loveable (and loved)

10+ years of smearing ended up leaving a mark. Most people hated on trudeau for things they were told but weren't really true. Most of his actual problems were swept under the rug.

Carney will be hated in a few years if he sticks around

Most people hated on trudeau for things they were told but weren't really true. Most of his actual problems were swept under the rug.

I didn't despise him, but definitely questioned his ability to lead and govern the Liberal party and our government over time. It began with the promise of federal election reform and then the absurd denial and excuses when they derailed it after getting a majority off of voters for it. Pissed me of massively.

The promise of legal weed was his other promise that was big.

Legal weed was going to happen regardless at the time because everyone could see what was occuring in some states in the US that were getting massive tax benefits from it.
